Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
United will play Roma in the semi-finals following the Italian outfit's narrow triumph over Ajax. United are next in action against Burnley at home in the Premier League on Sunday. Granada have a week to prepare for their next LaLiga game against Eibar at home.
Manchester United have eased into the Europa League semi-finals with a 2-0 victory on the night over Granada, completing a 4-0 aggregate win over the Spanish side. The Red Devils were in control from the off as Edinson Cavani volleyed the home side in front in the sixth minute. Granada did have half-chances through Yangel Herrera, but he failed to hit the target with close-range headers. An own goal from Jesus Vallejo rounded off the scoring, sending Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his men into the last four of the competition.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: MANCHESTER UNITED 2-0 GRANADA (4-0 AGG)

90' There will be three minutes of added time.
90' SAVE! De Gea is sharp down low to his right to palm away a header from Herrera after the midfielder latches onto a cross from Machis.
88' Molina tries to thread a ball through for the run of Suarez in the final third, but he misplaces his offload through to De Gea.
86' SAVE! Diaz lines up a blast from 20 yards and he penetrates the wall of red shirts on the edge of the box. However, De Gea watches it all the way and clutches the ball.
85' Montoro has whipped excellent deliveries into the box this evening, but his cross from a corner on the right flank fails to beat the first United defender at the near post.

A. Wan-Bissaka
Manchester United
82' Williams comes on to the field in place of Wan-Bissaka at full-back.
N. Pérez
Germán Sánchez
Granada
82' Perez replaces Sanchez at the back for the visitors for the dying stages of the game.
81' Wan-Bissaka feeds the run of Greenwood in the right-inside channel, but as he tries to turn on to his left foot, Diaz steals possession with a well-timed challenge.
80' Sanchez makes a timely interception in the Granada box to keep a precise cutback from Mata in the right-inside channel away from Greenwood.
78' Machis turns away down the left-inside channel and he floats a cross towards the near post that De Gea reacts to claim with ease.
76' Manchester United are on course for their 18th semi-final in all European competition (inc. Fairs Cup) – only Liverpool (19) have appeared in more amongst English sides.
75' Telles strikes the ball at goal from the resulting free-kick, but his effort clips the top of the wall before travelling over. The referee spots an infringement in the wall anyway as Lindelof is penalised for a foul.
Víctor Díaz
Carlos Neva
Granada
74' Diaz comes on to the field to replace Neva for the visitors.
Carlos Neva
Yellow Card
Granada
74' Neva is booked for arguing with the referee about the foul on Fred by Herrera.
74' Fred is caught by the boot of Herrera as the two players challenge for the ball on the edge of the Granada box. The Brazilian goes down and United are awarded a free-kick within range of goal.
Mata
Bruno Fernandes
Manchester United
73' Mata replaces Fernandes for the closing stages of the contest.
72' Herrera latches on to a loose ball on the edge of the United box, but he hammers his effort straight into the legs of Matic.
68' The tie is slipping away from the Spanish outfit now. If they were to achieve the impossible they would require a complete collapse from the Red Devils at the back, which does not look forthcoming.
66' WIDE! Sanchez misses a great opportunity to keep Granada's slim hopes alive. Montoro whips a free-kick into the box from the right flank that travels to the skipper in the left-inside channel. He turns to shoot on his left foot, only to drag his effort wide of the post.
63' James twists and turns down the right flank, but his attempted cross towards Greenwood is blocked by Neva.
Germán Sánchez
Yellow Card
Granada
61' Sanchez blocks Fernandes' ball to Greenwood with his hand and goes into the book.
D. James
E. Cavani
Manchester United
60' The goalscorer Cavani is withdrawn for the home side after a successful evening. James replaces the forward, and the change will see Greenwood spearhead the attack.
60' CHANCE! Van de Beek latches on to a loose ball on the edge of the box following a driving run from Greenwood. The Dutchman tries to place his effort inside the left post, but it creeps just wide of the target.
58' Suarez is played into space in the right-inside channel by Montoro and he lines up a strike at goal. Tuanzebe gets across and does well to divert his strike away from goal.
56' WIDE! Cavani has a chance to put the game beyond doubt as he latches on to a cross from Fernandes on the right flank. The Uruguayan glances a header towards goal, but it travels wide of the left post.
54' Neva delivers a cross into the box from the free-kick, but De Gea claims the ball with ease. That was disappointing from the visitors.
53' Tuanzebe brings down Neva on the left flank and gives away a free-kick to the visitors. The Spanish side have an opportunity to threaten from the set-piece.
50' SAVE! Greenwood peels off his man and into space to attack a cross from Van de Beek from the right flank. However, the forward cannot generate any power on his effort at goal, allowing Silva to make a comfortable stop.
49' CHANCE! Molina has to do better! Foulquier raids down the right flank and delivers a precise cross to the back post. Molina makes glancing contact with his header, but it deflects off Wan-Bissaka and into the hands of De Gea.
47' Granada are trying to build an attacking rhythm in the final third, but the Spanish outfit really have to force the issue to put pressure on the home side.
46' We're back under way at Old Trafford.
Antonio Puertas
Kenedy
Granada
46' Puertas comes onto the field to replace Kenedy at the break for Granada.
D. van de Beek
P. Pogba
Manchester United
46' Solskjaer takes no chances with Pogba in the book. The Frenchman is withdrawn for Van de Beek.
L. Suárez
Soldado
Granada
46' Suarez replaces Soldado for the visitors in the final third.
Granada have had a couple of half-chances in the contest. Yangel Herrera has come close on two occasions with headers inside the United box, but he could only place those efforts wide of the target. If the Spanish outfit get one goal it could build momentum, but it will take a monumental effort to to qualify for the semis from this position.
Manchester United are on course to reach the Europa League semi-finals, taking a 1-0 lead into the break in their second leg against Granada. Edinson Cavani scored the only goal of the half with a precise volley in the sixth minute from Paul Pogba's knockdown. As a result, United have a 3-0 aggregate lead and it will take something special from the visitors to mount a second-half comeback.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 GRANADA
45' There will be one minute of added time.
44' Chances from distance continue to flow as Greenwood is the latest to try his luck. He joins Fernandes and Kenedy in failing to hit the target.
43' Kenedy seizes on a loose ball in the United half and turns away from Matic to open up space for a shot from distance. However, the strike from the Brazilian sails well wide of the target.
41' Pogba has provided three assists in his last four games in all competitions, as many as in his previous 51 combined.
40' Greenwood tries to use his pace down the right flank, but Sanchez gets across for the visitors to send the ball into touch.
38' Cavani combines with Fernandes to send the Portuguese into space on the edge of the box, but he skews his right-footed strike well wide of the target.

34' CLOSE! Fernandes almost scores a cracker for the home side, blasting a volley narrowly over the bar. Matic clips a perfect ball over the top for the run of the Portuguese in the right-inside channel. He strikes it first time, only to send his attempt over the top.
Jorge Molina
M. Gonalons
Granada

31' Gonalons is struggling for the visitors with an apparent shoulder injury. He is receiving treatment, but a replacement is on the way from the bench.
29' Greenwood tries to beat Vallejo to the ball, but the Granada defender gets there first to clear the danger. He catches Greenwood on the follow-through, leaving the forward on the deck. He gets to his feet shortly after, although it was a sore one.
27' United could do with taking the pace out of the game to settle down proceedings. They do not need to take any risks in the final third or be nipping into challenges given their 3-0 aggregate lead.
25' Kenedy tries to turn past Pogba with a piece of skill, but the Frenchman holds firm and wins the ball for the home side.
22' The contest is turning into a feisty affair. Both teams are being committed in their challenges this evening. Given their lead, United are the ones that have to be careful.
20' CHANCE! Montoro floats a perfect cross into the box for Herrera to attack with a diving header, but his effort travels wide of the post. Herrera had to hit the target with that opportunity.
Soldado
Yellow Card
Granada
19' Soldado is overzealous in his appeal to the referee about handing Pogba a second yellow card. The forward is yellow-carded himself. A needless one for the Spaniard.
19' Pogba brings down Herrera on the charge and concedes a free-kick. The Granada players are incensed that Pogba should have a second booking, but the official has boxed himself into a corner after the first decision against the Frenchman.
P. Pogba
Yellow Card
Manchester United
17' Pogba goes into the book for catching Sanchez with a stray arm as he tries to fend off the Granada defender. There was not a lot of contact and Pogba was fouled before the incident by Gonalons. That was a harsh one.
15' Fred clips an inviting ball over the top for Greenwood into space, but Silva races off his line and clears ahead of the United forward.
14' Granada are trying to battle their way into the game. They've been decent in the final third, but conceding the early goal has left them with a mammoth task to advance to the last four.
12' Cavani has scored in European competition for the 11th consecutive season, with this being his first goal in the UEFA Europa League since December 2012 (for Napoli v PSV).
10' Herrera tries to bundle his way past Lindelof in the right-inside channel, but the Swede does enough to force the ball behind for a corner. Granada have issued a strong response since going behind on the night.
9' Herrera is afforded time and space in the final third and he goes for the drive at goal that he blazes over the bar.
8' INCHES WIDE! Granada come close to levelling on the night as Herrera nods just wide of the right post. Montoro floats an accurate cross into the middle for the midfielder to attack. He powers a header towards goal that travels inches wide, with De Gea rooted to the spot.
E. Cavani
Goal
Manchester United
6' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! CAVANI SCORES WITH A SUBLIME VOLLEY!!!! 1-0 UNITED!!!!! The home side take the lead on the night through a sweet strike on his left foot from Cavani. Telles floats a cross in from the left flank that Pogba meets and guides back towards an unmarked Cavani. The Uruguayan takes the ball out of the air first time on his left foot, and finds the bottom-right corner with his effort.
P. Pogba
Assist
Manchester United
6' Pogba makes a good run into the box and floats a header back to Cavani, who scores on the volley.
5' United break with pace with a slick passing move. Cavani tries to release Greenwood in the final third, but he sends his offload too close to Silva, who races off his line to gather the ball.
4' Fernandes ventures forward through the middle of the park and lines up a drive at goal that travels harmlessly wide of the right post.
2' Kenedy breaks down the right flank and he tries a rabona cross, but Lindelof is well placed to clear in the penalty area for the home side.
2' Tuanzebe climbs on the back of Soldado as he attempts to clear a long ball with his head, but he gives away a free-kick.
1' We're under way at Old Trafford.
Manchester United won the first leg of a European tie away from home for the 22nd time – they have progressed from all 21 of their previous such ties.
Granada have made five changes to their side that beat Valladolid on the road last time out. Neva, Montoro, Kenedy, Herrera and Soldado all come into the side this evening. Puertas and Molina drop to the bench for the visitors. Quini and Fede Vico miss out as they are ineligible to play in the Europa League, while Yan Eteki is suspended for the contest.
United have made five changes to their side following the win over Tottenham last time out. Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Luke Shaw are all suspended for the contest after picking up yellow cards last week. Tuanzebe, Telles and Matic come into the fold to replace the trio in defence and midfield. De Gea returns between the posts to oust Henderson to the bench. Greenwood starts in favour of Rashford in the final third. Pogba captains the side in the absence of Maguire.
GRANADA SUBS: Nehuen Perez, Luis Suarez, Antonio Puertas, Aaron Escandell, Victor Diaz, Jorge Molina, Isma Ruiz, Raul Torrente, Arnau Fabrega.

Granada have a lot of work ahead of them tonight to force themselves back into the tie. They need to score two goals to find parity in the contest after their defeat on home soil. The Spanish outfit stopped a run of four straight losses at the weekend by defeating Real Valladolid 2-1 on the road. Goals from Quini and Jorge Molina earned Diego Martinez's men a comeback win. The club will need a similar effort to overhaul United this evening.
United are in command of the tie after their 2-0 win in the first leg courtesy of a strike from Marcus Rashford and a late penalty from Bruno Fernandes. The Red Devils already have one foot in the semi-finals of the competition, but now need to close out the contest to secure their last-four berth. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men remained in excellent touch at the Premier League at the weekend, beating Spurs 3-1. The Norwegian manager will want the same level he saw in the second half of that game for 90 minutes tonight.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the second leg Europa League quarter-final clash between Manchester United and Granada at Old Trafford.
