Commentary

You can join us again for that huge game very soon, but for now we'll leave Juve to their party. Thanks for tuning in, catch you all next time for more LIVE action.
Juve will enjoy their evening, the second time in quick succession they are getting their hands on some silverware. But there's no denying what the real prize on offer is - the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Cardiff is the big one for this team, who lost the decider to Barcelona in Berlin two years ago.
The players are hugging and congratulating each other on the field, as officials prepare a podium upon which to hand over the trophy.
FULL-TIME in Turin. Juve are crowned Serie A champions for a sixth successive time, no team in the history of Italy's top flight has managed such a feat before.
90' + 4' OH, outrageous! Mario Mandzukic just tried to lob Cordaz from MILES out. The goalie just about tipped it over the bar to spare his blushes.
90' + 3' Crotone take one last corner, but Lorenzo Crisetig can't clear the first defender.
90' + 1' We're into injury time now. Three minutes have been added on, but how much of that will the ref allow to run? There doesn't seem much point now. Get the festivities under way!
90' Ooooh, Dani Alves almost set up a fourth for Juve, reaching the byline and cutting the ball back across the face of an unguarded net, but there was no-one there to tuck it away. Shame.
Dani Alves
Yellow Card
89' Dani Alves gets himself souvenir yellow card late in the game.
89' Fiat and Juve supremo Andrea Agnelli was just pictured in the crowd kissing his wife in celebration of Juve's latest achievement. And a huge banner is being unfurled by the ultras. It's almost party time!
88' Oh dear, Buffon just made his first save of the match. It only took Crotone until the final two minutes to call the Italy great into meaningful action. Sums it up, really.
86' The Juve fans are being asked by an official over the loudspeaker NOT to invade the pitch in celebration, because it will delay the title ceremony. The best laid plans of mice, men and victorious football clubs, right?
T. Rincón
M. Pjanić
84' The final change from Allegri sees Pjanic trot off, on comes Tomas Rincon for the last five miutes or so.
P. Dybala
Assist
83' Dybala swung in the set-piece, Cordaz saved the initial header and pushed it onto the cross bar. It looked like it had bounced clear, but goal line technology intervened decisively.
Alex Sandro
Goal
83' ALEX SANDRO SEALS THE SCUDETTO FOR JUVE! The Brazilian has been impressive throughout today and he just thundered home a deserved goal with a powerful header from Dybala's corner.
83' Dani Alves from the right tried to pick out Alex Sandro at the back post, but Crotone scramble it behind for a corner.
82' Juve are cruising towards a comfortable win here. Andrea Barberis is the only Crotone player to have troubled Gianluigi Buffon in the second half, the goalkeeper didn't even need to make a save from his long-range effort a few minutes ago.
B. Acosty
M. Rohdén
78' Rohden, who toiled without reward, makes way for Boadu Maxwell Acosty.
B. Martella
Yellow Card
76' Martella enters the ref's notebook. He's the first of the day, it's been a reasonably clean game, despite some early strongarm tactics from Crotone to start the second half.
76' Finally, a chance! Higuain miscontrolled, Pjanic swooped in with glory on his mind, but the ball ends up nowhere near the goal.
75' Juve controlling possession without making much of an effort to get it forward. Crotone are back to keeping their shape and trying not to let Juve get into dangerous areas.
M. Lemina
C. Marchisio
74' Stalwart midfielder Marchisio makes way for the fresh legs of Mario Lemina
73' We might go through the rest of the game without another goal here. Juve don't look too fussed about extending their lead and Crotone, poor dears, probably aren't capable of breaching the vaunted Bianconeri backline.
A. Barzagli
J. Cuadrado
70' Some tactical changes required here, as Cuadrado comes off for Andrea Barzagli. That means Dani Alves pushes forward to the right side of the attack.
70' Allegri, finally, looks to be preparing to make some changes from the touchline. Who will earn a rest in the final 20 minutes?
69' Tell you what, Crotone have been so much better after the break. Is that just Juve having already secured a handsome lead? If not, Nicola really should have sent his side out to play this way from kick-off.
68' A defender's attempt on goal from Ferrari there! He surprised the Juve defence by advancing up the field and selling a bit of a dummy, but it runs away from him and comes to nothing.
67' The subsequent corner is cleared and then Simy wins a free-kick from Benatia, who bundled the forward over to prevent a counterattack. Smart foul.
66' A great sliding block from Gianmarco Ferrari denies Mandzukic after Juve counter to good effect!
65' Substitute 'Simy' with a good break for Crotone, he plays it to Falcinelli, but Juve swoop and regain possession.
63' Well, we said Juve might take their foot off the gas a touch and that's certainly proving to be the case. This second half is disjointed and there's been very few good chances.
61' To be fair, Crotone are giving a better account of themselves after the break. More energy, more aggression and fewer Juve chances are the consequence. But the match is probably already gone for them after conceding those early goals.
60' The television director is showing us replays of Dani Alves, Cuadrado and Dybala all being roughed up by Crotone. Is it time for Allegri to wrap some of his gems in cotton wool ahead of the Champions League final?
59' A little disjointed from Juve in the opening stages of the second half. Cuadrado benefited from Martella's mistake to threaten, but he was closed down before being able to shoot.
S. Nwankwo
A. Tonev
57' Tonev is withdrawn for Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo. Falcinelli came over to the bench and suggested he might need to come off, but Davide Nicola told him in no uncertain terms to carry on!
56' Dybala has the ball in the back of the net after getting behind the Crotone backline, but the flag is up and it won't count. The little Argentine knew he had strayed off.
55' Falcinelli broke for Crotone after the corner and slipped it out wide to Tonev, who cut it back from the byline and Juve were able to clear.
54' Alex Sandro does well to control the ball, advance down the left flank and swing in a cross, it's cleared behind for a corner.
53' The Juve faithful are in fine voice here in Turin. The sun is out and their team are closing in on another championship. Remember, after claiming the Coppa Italia in mid-week, this could be the second leg of a memorable treble.
52' A few more worrying signs for Crotone as Juve threaten in the channels, but the forwards can't quite latch on to those promising balls.
50' Well, we almost had the answer there! Mandzukic just blasted a warning shot over the bar after being picked out on the counterattack.
49' As predicted, Crotone are pressing a little bit more aggressively early in the second half. Will they profit from that strategy or find themselves punished?
47' And already a good chance for Juve, Cuadrado bursts into the area and, from a narrowing angle, draws a good save from Cordaz at the Crotone goalkeeper's near post.
46' Juve have kicked us off, they're 45 minutes plus injury time away from being crowned champions yet again.
Here come the Crotone players. Looks like they've been given a stern talking to by head coach Davide Nicola, but will it do them any good? Probably not...
The players are heading back out into the sunshine and there's already a jovial mood among the Juve stars, Higuain sharing a joke with Dybala as they prepare to get things back underway.
Like the players, we'll take a short break and then join you for the second-half action LIVE from Juventus Stadium.
Massimiliano Allegri will be hoping his players can score early in the second half to make absolutely sure of their Scudetto coronation and then turn his attention to resting prized assets for the titanic Champions League final struggle with Real Madrid that lies on the horizon.
That's the half-time whistle and Juve are comfortably in charge here in Turin. Goals from Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala, the latter a wonderful curling free-kick, mean the Bianconeri are on track to seal a sixth successive Serie A title.
45' + 2' A respectable finish to the half from Crotone, who earn a bit of sustained possession in the Juve defensive third, but their good work is undone by the offside flag of the assistant referee.
45' + 1' Crotone earn a corner after another deflected Falcinelli shot, Bonucci clears with the head and Juve attempt to counter, but Cuadrado runs it into touch.
45' Higuain there with a flicked header at the back post from Mandzukic's cross. It floats harmlessly wide.
43' There's a collectors' item, Diego Falcinelli - previously invisible - gets on the ball in the Juve box and has a shot, but it's blocked by a tangle of legs. They've barely had a sniff, the away team.
42' Higuain tried to volley a raking pass into Cuadrado's path and it turned into an outrageous lob attempt! Cordaz has to scamper backwards to gather the ball and avoid embarrassment.
41' That was the goal Juve had been looking for. Truth be told, they haven't created that much, but the home team have been in total control from start to finish and you can't argue they don't deserve a relatively comfortable lead as we approach half-time.
P. Dybala
Goal
39' GOOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!! OOOWWWWW, take that! Dybala lined that one up, picked his spot and curled a beautiful finish into the top left corner of Cordaz's goal. The Crotone goalkeeper was left with absolutely no chance.
38' Cuadrado wins a free-kick off Ceccherini in a dangerous area. Dybala set that one up with a good run down the middle. He's growing into this game after a slow start.
37' Bonucci is down on the ground clutching his head after being taken out by Benatia at that setpiece. It doesn't look like the friendly-fire incident has done any lasting harm, thankfully for Juve.
36' Federico Ceccherini is the latest Crotone defender to effect an important sliding tackle inside the area and Benatia heads over from the subsequent corner. The siege continues but it's still only 1-0.
M. Sampirisi
A. Rosi
35' Aleandro Rosi can't continue after that earlier knock, Mario Sampirisi is his replacement
34' Ferrari to the rescue for Crotone there! He heads behind just in the nick of time to deny Higuain a header on goal from Dybala's cross to the back post.
33' Rohden has had a swig of water and he's back on, probably just wanted to let the ref know he'd been wronged. Sandro gets away with it, though.
32' Sneaky! Alex Sandro gets some payback on Rohden for that earlier shove by leaning into his opponent on an aerial challenge, leaving the Crotone man howling in pain on the turf.
31' Important block from Bruno Martella inside the penalty area, he dives in and gets in the way of Higuain's shot. The Argentine had been played in on goal after a neat exchange of Juve passes through the middle.
30' Clumsy stuff from Marcus Rohden, who spoiled a decent Crotone opening by bowling Alex Sandro over inside the Juve area.
29' A slightly better spell for Crotone, Tonev getting in down the left and Dani Alves is forced to tackle him. It should have been a corner to Crotone, but the officials signal for a goal kick.
28' If it carries on in this fashion, the only logical outcome will be another Juve goal. But if Crotone start to press more aggressively, the likes of Bonucci and Claudio Marchisio will pick the visitors off with long, pinpoint counterattacking balls forward. What a predicament for the away team.
27' Crotone are trying to keep their shape and deny Juve space, but they are affording the hosts too much time on the ball and, as a consequence, La Signora are just stroking it around at their leisure.
25' More joy for Dani Alves down the right from a Bonucci ball forward. The Brazilian plays a clever first-time ball into the area, but no-one in a Bianconeri shirt is there to threaten.
23' Alex Sandro cuts in from the left, gets it to Higuain, but it bobbles up a bit and the resulting shot is weak and easily saved by Cordaz. It's looking ominous for Crotone, who are under heavy pressure.
22' Now Dybala's dummy allows Higuain to take a pot shot from the top of the area, it too is charged down by the Crotone defence. Juve starting to turn it on.
21' Dybala's shot from the edge of the area is blocked following a well-worked Juve move, which started with the back four. Clever stuff.
20' Crotone struggling to get anything going here. Every time they go forward it's long and relatively aimless, with Juve gathering possession and building their attacks slowly and carefully.
18' Looking at the replays, Dybala was certainly making the most of any contact.
17' Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni is the man with the whistle and he wasn't interested in the Argentine's hopeful appeal, but we've seen them given.
16' Ooohhh. Penalty shout there. Dybala went down under pressure from Gianmarco Ferrari looking for the spot-kick, but the ref didn't buy it.
16' Let's not forget Juve have the small matter of a Champions League final against Real Madrid coming up early next month. If they can make this one safe, expect a few key men to get a rest in the second half.
15' Juve stroking it around with ease now, if Crotone let them it could turn into a bit of a stroll in the park here.
14' A slow start from Juve has exploded into life with that goal. Consumate poacher Mandzukic was in exactly the right spot to tuck it away and Juve will be feeling much more relaxed now.
J. Cuadrado
Assist
13' The assist goes to Cuadrado, who got in down the right and swung in a good ball before he reached the by-line.
M. Mandžukić
Goal
13' GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL! Mario Mandžukić puts Juve in front from close range on his birthday!
12' Bonucci is looking for Dani Alves and Cuadrado on Juve's right. Former Barcelona fullback Dani Alves has been in brilliant form of late, could he make the difference for Juve again today?
11' Diego Falcinelli was the man on the end of that clumsy Benatia tackle, but there do not appear to be any lasting ill-effects.
10' Crunching challenge from Benatia there gives Crotone a free-kick, which is launched forward and leads to a throw deep in Juve's half.
9' Pjanic took the corner but it didn't come to anything, Dani Alves shooting well wide and giving up a goal kick to Crotone.
9' Juve win a corner through Alex Sandro, who was released in behind the Crotone defence by Leonardo Bonucci's raking through-ball.
8' It is Pjanic who takes the shot, but he drags it harmlessly high and wide of Alex Cordaz's goal
7' Juve win a free-kick in a dangerous area, with Miralem Pjanic and Paulo Dybala eyeing it up. Within shooting range?
6' Medhi Benatia, in for Giorgio Chiellini today, did well to block Aleksandar Tonev's shot from Crotone's first half-sight of goal
5' Gonzalo Higuain attempted an overhead kick from Juan Cuadrado's cross but succeeded only in taking out the unfortunate Aleandro Rosi, who was down on the deck getting some attention from the physio. Magic sponge called for!
2' Juve are, unsurprisingly, controlling things early on, with pressure building in the final third, but we're yet to see a clear chance...
1' Crotone kick-off in the sunshine at Juventus Stadium
The players are in the tunnel now as anticipation builds in the stands for what the home supporters hope will be Juve's coronation as champions. But have Crotone read the script?
Crotone substitutes: Claiton, Festa, Mesbah, Kotnik, Dussenne, Acosty, Capezzi, Trotta, Sampirisi, Viscovo, Suljic, Nwankwo.
Crotone XI (4-4-2): Cordaz; Rosi, Ceccherini, Ferrari, Martella; Rohden, Barberis, Crisetig, Tonev; Falcinelli, Nalini.
Juventus substitutes: Chiellini, Khedira, Mattiello, Barzagli, Lemina, Asamoah, Neto, Lichtsteiner, Sturaro, Rincon, Audero, Kean.
Juventus XI (4-2-3-1): Buffon; Dani Alves, Bonucci, Benatia, Alex Sandro; Pjanic, Marchisio; Cuadrado, Dybala, Mandzukic; Higuain.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
The two teams have only met one another three times in the league, with Juventus comfortably managing to win on each occasion. Not only that, but Crotone are yet to score a single goal against the Bianconeri. The last meeting between the two in Turin - way back in 2007 after Juventus were demoted to Serie B - ended in an easy 5-0 victory for the home side, whilst February’s game at the Stadio Ezio Scida ended 2-0 to the visitors.
It won’t be easy, as, despite spending the entire season stuck in the bottom three, Crotone are currently one of the most feared teams in Serie A. The Rossoblu are on fire at the moment, with a late surge up the table seeing them pick up 17 points from their last seven games. They’re unbeaten in all of those outings but remain one point behind Genoa heading into this afternoon’s huge clash, meaning that another positive result is desperately needed if they’re to escape relegation.
Even though they failed to win the league crown last weekend, Juventus’ spirits will nonetheless be high thanks to Wednesday’s Coppa Italia triumph against Lazio. First-half goals from Dani Alves and Leonardo Bonucci meant it was a relatively straight forward contest for Massimiliano Allegri’s men, setting them up perfectly for this afternoon’s clash against one of the league’s most in-form sides.
Despite still having their fate in their own hands, Juventus’ gap at the top of the table has somehow been reduced to just one point, with Roma breathing down their necks after yesterday’s thrilling 5-3 victory away to Chievo. Last weekend’s defeat against the Giallorossi means that the Old Lady need a win today to keep the club from the capital at bay and wrap up an historic sixth consecutive Serie A title.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Serie A game between Juventus and Crotone at the Juventus Stadium.
