Thank you for joining us today, and we hope you can join us when this match finally takes place. Goodbye!
Despite efforts to prepare amid snowy conditions in Burnley, the decision has been made to postpone the match against Tottenham due to hazardous weather conditions. Attempts to clear the pitch and the surrounding areas were defeated by further snowfall, so the game has now been called off and is set to be re-scheduled for a later date.
While only separated from their visitors by 10 points in the table, Burnley have won just one of their last 12 league games versus Spurs, who have failed to score in only one of their 14 Premier League matches against the Clarets. The London club's last blank in this fixture was a goalless draw back in April 2015, and they have kept eight clean sheets in their last 14 encounters.
Following their midweek humbling at the hands of NS Mura - the Europa Conference League's lowest-ranked side - Tottenham return to domestic action with a challenging trip to Lancashire. While their European hopes hang by a thread, Spurs sit seventh in the Premier League table, just four points behind the all-important fourth spot after last week's comeback win over Leeds.
Though still languishing in the relegation zone after a sluggish start to the campaign, Burnley have gone unbeaten in their last four Premier League games: picking up draws against Southampton, Chelsea and Crystal Palace in addition to beating Brentford 3-1 at Turf Moor. Therefore, the Clarets' last loss came over a month ago, at the hands of champions Manchester City. However, Sean Dyche's side have lost four of their last five games against today's opponents.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of today's Premier League fixture between Burnley and Tottenham at Turf Moor!
