Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Bournemouth face Chelsea next time out in the Premier League at the Vitality Stadium, while West Ham take on AFC Wimbledon on the road in the FA Cup.
Bournemouth get back to winning ways in the Premier League to end a difficult time of late for Eddie Howe's men. They put forward a fine performance to see off West Ham this afternoon courtesy of goals from Callum Wilson and Josh King. The Hammers did have chances of their own, including a terrible miss from Andy Carroll from close range. Bournemouth's clinical edge was the difference between the two sides and allowed them to secure only their third win in their last 13 games in the top flight. Manuel Pellegrini will be frustrated, but his team are still in a healthy position in the Premier League.

Goal
AFC Bournemouth
90' + 1' GOALLLLLLLLL!!!! KING SCORES THE DECISIVE SECOND!! 2-0 BOURNEMOUTH!! The home side kill the game off as King is able to convert from close range on the counter. Brooks was played into acres of space down the right flank and he had time to make his decision. He squared the ball for the unmarked King, who was able to rifle his effort into the back of the net.
90' There will be three minutes of added time.
89' Boruc makes a huge mistake at the back as he plays his clearance straight to Hernandez. However, the forward fails to pick out Anderson in the final third with his offload, allowing Boruc to gather at the feet of the Brazilian.
87' Bournemouth waste the free-kick as Fraser sends his delivery straight out for a goal-kick. Not the best approach from the winger on that occasion.
86' Fraser wins a free-kick for his team to take further time off the clock following a foul by Diangana.
85' For all of West Ham's pressing they've not been able to carve out openings at goal. Boruc has been largely untested this afternoon.
83' The game goes end-to-end as Cresswell loses out on the edge of the box, but King's attempt to break away on the counter is stopped by a fine tackle from Diop.
81' A corner from Snodgrass causes problems for the home side. The second ball almost allows Ogbonna to head at goal, but Boruc senses the danger and beats it away with his fist.
79' SAVE! Anderson releases Hernandez on the edge of the box and the Mexican shoots early at goal. However, his effort lacks power and Boruc gets down to make a comfortable save.
G. Diangana
M. Noble
West Ham United
79' Noble makes way for the visitors to be replace by Diangana.
77' PENALTY SHOUT! Stanislas releases Brooks in the right inside channel. The winger goes down under pressure from Ogbonna, but the referee waves play on, and the home side don't even get a corner out of the incident.
75' The game is hanging in the balance here. West Ham are seeing a lot of possession, but have not carved out a clear-cut opening since the early stages of the second half.
J. Stanislas
C. Wilson
AFC Bournemouth
73' Wilson makes way and heads straight down the tunnel for further treatment. Stanislas replaces the forward.
72' Wilson goes down for the home side, clutching his hamstring. He will have to make way here. That's a huge blow for Howe.
71' OFF THE POST! WILSON IS DENIED A SECOND! The Cherries break on the counter and King works the ball back to Wilson to fire at goal. He connects with his left foot, placing the ball across Fabianski, only to see his effort hit the post and roll away to safety.
69' Lerma sticks his boot in on the edge of the box on Antonio, who goes down, although the referee waves play on.
67' Fraser and Brooks almost pick apart the West Ham defence. Fraser's delivery causes problems before Brooks take on the strike. He sees his effort blocked before Lerma blasts his strike on the follow-up over the bar.
R. Snodgrass
S. Nasri
West Ham United
66' Snodgrass comes on to the pitch to replace Nasri.
J. Hernández
A. Carroll
West Ham United
66' Carroll is withdrawn for the visitors and is replaced by Hernandez.
64' CHALLENGE! King weaves his way through the West Ham backline and is just about to pull the trigger before Noble come across with a sliding challenge to quell the attack. The Hammers' captain had to make that tackle.

61' The game has appeared to have declared itself. West Ham are going to see the majority of the ball, but the Cherries are ready to hit them on the break.
59' Bournemouth break with pace on the counter and King has Fraser through the middle as an unmarked option. However, he overhits his throughball straight to Fabianski.
58' Anderson wins a corner off the legs of Clyne, but resulting delivery from Cresswell is cleared away by Cook in the middle.
57' West Ham had made a bright start to the second half, but they were exposed on the break. Do they have response in them this afternoon?
55' Carroll digs out a cross on the left flank and almost works the ball towards Antonio, but Smith edges out the winger in the box to see off the threat.
C. Wilson
Goal
AFC Bournemouth
53' GOALLLLLLLLLLL!!! WILSON SCORES A STUNNER!! 1-0 BOURNEMOUTH!! The Cherries take the lead as Wilson produces a brilliant strike on the half-volley. Fraser was afforded space down the left flank and his cross was deflected into the path of the forward on the edge of the box. It sat up nicely for Wilson to strike on the half-volley and he did not disappoint, powering his effort into the net with precision.
52' OVER! Noble gallops into space down the right flank and sends a cross into the box. Brooks fails to clear and Nasri gathers to tee up Antonio for a strike, only for the winger to clear the bar with his attempt.
51' The game has opened up more in the second half and we already should have had goals at both ends of the pitch.
49' WHAT A MISS! Carroll fails to hit the target from a yard out. The forward rose at the back post to guide Noble's cross into the middle. Antonio failed to connect with his strike, but the ball rebounded to Carroll. All he had to do was smash it into the net, but he cleared the crossbar with his strike.
48' CHANCES! Fabianski keeps the scores level with two fine stops. Cook rises in the middle to head Fraser's delivery at goal, but the Pole gets down to his right to make the stop. Bournemouth keep the attack alive although Ake's cross is overhit. Fraser gathers again on the right and sends a cross into the box where Zabaleta stabs the ball towards his own goal, but Fabianski saves again.
47' Ogbonna brings down Wilson and Bournemouth will have an early opening to send the ball into the box.
46' We're back underway at the Vitality Stadium.
Manuel Pellegrini will be the happier of the two managers given that his side looked fairly comfortable for final 20 minutes of the half. Bournemouth did make a bright start to the contest, but struggled for control as the half progressed, leaving Eddie Howe with decisions to make at the break.
It's all square at the break at the Vitality Stadium between Bournemouth and West Ham. It has been an even contest, with both sides having at least one good opportunity in front of goal. The Cherries had a goal disallowed for offside, while at the other end Samir Nasri fired just wide of the post. The majority of the game has been played in the middle of the pitch, while both teams have struggled with the final ball into the box. An improvement will be needed to break the deadlock this afternoon.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: BOURNEMOUTH 0-0 WEST HAM
45' + 1' Anderson's delivery is cleared at the first attempt, and although Noble gathers he quickly loses possession.
45' + 1' Antonio raids down the right flank and wins a corner off the legs of Fraser. A chance for the Hammers to threaten before the break.
45' There will be one minute of added time.
45' King and Zabaleta clash in an aerial battle, and West Ham get the decision from the referee. The Argentine is not pleased with the Bournemouth forward.
43' Anderson releases Cresswell down the left flank and the Hammers work an opening. Rice fancies his chances from distance, but he blazes his attempt well over the bar.
42' Zabaleta breaks up a promising Bournemouth attack down the left flank with an inch-perfect challenge on Smith.
41' Both managers will not be satisfied with the quality of passing in the final third. There have been opportunities to exploit space in and around the box, but neither team has been able to fully capitalise.
39' OVER! Fraser manages to turn in space on the left flank and he offloads towards Smith on the edge of the box. The full-back powers an effort at goal on his right foot, only to lift his attempt narrowly over the bar.
37' Antonio skips through three challenges and offloads to Carroll on the edge of the box. However, the forward attempts an ambitious first-time pass and loses possession immediately to Clyne.
35' Noble works the ball into the path of Anderson on the edge of the box, but the Brazilian gets crowded out before he can turn.
34' Cook takes out Anderson from behind in the centre circle and is fortunate to escape a booking.
32' Lerma brings down Zabaleta on the right flank, but the resulting delivery into the box from Anderson is poor and cleared with ease by the Cherries.
30' There have been a lot of niggly fouls in the opening 30 minutes. It would not be a surprise to see a set-piece play a factor in the result this afternoon.
28' Howe is urging his players up the field to put the pressure on the Hammers in possession. It is a tactical affair between the two sides as they attempt to find space in tight areas.
26' West Ham are starting to build a rhythm in their play after being put on the back foot in the early stages of the contest.
24' CHANCE! West Ham apply pressure out of nowhere and Nasri comes within inches of putting the visitors ahead. Noble's break into the box is cut short by Cook, but the ball rebounds to Anderson and then back to the Frenchman. He shoots on the stretch on his left foot, placing his effort just past the post.
23' Bournemouth are dominating possession and are breaking into promising areas of the pitch, but have not been able to get the breakthrough.
21' DISALLOWED GOAL! Bournemouth have the ball in the net as Ake heads home Fraser's cross at the back post. However, the goal is chalked off for an offside decision against Wilson, who interferred with play in an offside position, obstructing Fabianski's attempted claim from the cross.
20' King dispossesses Rice and he sets Wilson away down the right flank. The forward whips a cross into the box towards Brooks, but Zabaleta is well placed to head behind for a corner.
A. Carroll
Yellow Card
West Ham United
18' Carroll barges into Fraser in his attempt to regain possession and goes into the book.
17' Carroll releases Anderson with a precise offload down the left. The Brazilian lifts a cross to the back post, but Carroll cannot guide the ball back towards Antonio in the middle as Cook and Ake clear the danger.
15' Carroll gives away a free-kick for the visitors for a foul on Cook. From the resulting cross, Cook is left unmarked by the Hammers, but he cannot direct his header back into a dangerous area.
13' OFFSIDE! King feeds the ball through for Lerma in the box, but the midfielder moves a fraction too soon and is caught offside. Lerma put his effort wide of the post anyway.
12' Smith continues to be a thorn in the side of the Hammers. He skips down the left flank before forcing a low cross to the near post where Wilson can only divert the ball out for a goal-kick under pressure from Diop.
10' Anderson looks for the run of Carroll in the left inside channel, but his offload towards the forward is guided back to Boruc by Cook.
8' WIDE! Brooks feeds the ball inside for the run of Wilson in the right inside channel. The forward lifts a cross back across the face of goal, but Brooks at the back post can only guide his header wide of the target.
7' Smith makes a surge forward all the way to the edge of the box. He looks for an offload towards Wilson in the left inside channel, but Ogbonna gets across the forward to make the intervention.
4' Both teams are trying to knock the ball around the pitch to build a rhythm, with a lot of the action being played in the middle of the park.
2' OVER! Fraser feeds the ball inside to Lerma, who takes a touch and then fires at goal from 25 yards. However, the midfielder blazes his attempt over the bar.
1' We're underway at the Vitality Stadium.
Bournemouth have won three of their seven Premier League meetings with West Ham, including the reverse fixture in August (D2 L2). Swansea are the only side they’ve beaten more in the competition (4).
There is one notable change to West Ham's team from their win over Arsenal last week. Marko Arnautovic has been dropped from the side completely amid speculation linking him with a move away from the club. He had been linked with a move to China and those rumours will be in overdrive now after being left out of the team, with Carroll replacing him as the Hammers' spearhead.
Bournemouth have made two changes to their side from their defeat to Everton last week. Wilson returns to the fold after missing out at Goodison Park due to injury, which sees Stanislas drop to the bench. The other change comes in goal where Howe makes the decision to drop Begovic and insert Boruc into the line-up for the first time this season.
SUBS: Robert Snodgrass, Adrian, Pedro Obiang, Javier Hernandez, Arthur Masuaku, Xande Silva, Grady Diangana.
WEST HAM (4-2-3-1): Lukasz Fabianski; Pablo Zabaleta, Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna, Aaron Cresswell; Mark Noble, Declan Rice; Michail Antonio, Samir Nasri, Felipe Anderson; Andy Carroll.
SUBS: Andrew Surman, Lys Mousset, Charlie Daniels, Junior Stanislas, Diego Rico, Jack Simpson, Asmir Begovic.
BOURNEMOUTH (4-4-2): Artur Boruc; Nathaniel Clyne, Steve Cook, Nathan Ake, Adam Smith; David Brooks, Dan Gosling, Jefferson Lerma, Ryan Fraser; Joshua King, Callum Wilson.
West Ham can rise into seventh place if they are able to defeat the Cherries this afternoon and results go in their favour. The Hammers endured a slow start to the season, but have gradually found their form under Manuel Pellegrini. They put forward a fine performance to see off Arsenal last week thanks to a goal from Declan Rice and will be looking for a similar display today.
Bournemouth are in need of a positive result this afternoon to regain their footing in the Premier League. They enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, but since the start of November they have won only two out of a possible 12 games. Eddie Howe's men have lost three matches on the bounce, including their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Everton last week. The home side need a response against the Hammers.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Bournemouth and West Ham at the Vitality Stadium.
