Zaire-Emery's performances have impressed France coach Deschamps, who said this week that he has a good chance of making the squad for next year's European Championship.
"He has all the qualities to be at a very high level," the coach said. "There is a lot of competition at his position. But he shows enormous potential with his club and at his age.
"This is an important step. Everything is going very quickly for him. But he has this ability to assume these responsibilities. There are players who can be mature at 30 and others who are younger. I sometimes grant extenuating circumstances when they are younger, or on the first selections.
"Warren is a candidate for the Euros. He is a complete midfielder at his age. He must be able to express it with the France team. I do not choose to put players on the field based on their date of birth."
