Kaizer Chiefs’ recent form may have been poor, but the Amakhosi still should have fancied their chances of inflicting some pain on Mamelodi Sundowns considering the league leaders’ extensive injury list.

The Brazilians were the walking wounded heading into Saturday’s clash, with no fewer than eight players absent and nursing fitness issues.

Despite the absentees listed here, however, the Glamour Boys failed to take their opportunity to seal all three points, with Neo Maema scoring the only goal of the game.
