    In a thrilling match at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina, Jordyn Bugg scored a breathtaking goal for Seattle Reign against the North Carolina Courage. The 18-year-old defender intercepted a clearance in the 56th minute and unleashed a powerful right-footed shot from well outside the box, finding the top-right corner of the net

    It stunned North Carolina Courage goalkeeper Casey Murphy, giving her no chance at making the save.

    The game's highlight came in the 56th minute when the 18-year-old Bugg scored her first professional goal with a stunning strike from outside the box. Veteran midfielder Jess Fishlock, making her 200th regular-season appearance, also found the net for Seattle Reign. North Carolina Courage managed to pull one back through Aline Gomes in the 59th minute but it wasn’t enough in the end.

    WHAT’S NEXT?

    Thanks to their 2-1 win over North Carolina Courage, Seattle Reign FC moved up the NWSL table into third place and are currently two points behind league leaders Kansas City Current. They face Angel City FC next on the road on March 30 before a home game against reigning NWSL champions Orlando Pride at Lumen Field on April 12.
