U.S. women's national team star Sophia Smith and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson were married on Saturday, the couple announced on social media. This past June, they announced their engagement, six years after meeting at Stanford.

"I feel like, aside from soccer, that's what I feel is my calling, to be a mom," Smith said in an interview with the Cardinals website.
