Western Kentucky and Louisiana Tech get together for a Tuesday night battle to stay within striking distance of the Conference USA lead. It’s Opening Night in the NBA, and we’re treated to the Warriors and Lakers right off the bat!
LA Tech puts its undefeated home record on the line tonight against WKU. No LeBron for the Lakers, so it’s Doncic leading the way against Curry and the Warriors.

What Can You Use Your FanDuel Bonus Bets on Today?
A big-time Conference USA battle is shaping up here on a Tuesday, and this is a wise 3.5-point spread in favor of Louisiana Tech that hasn’t moved an inch all week. The total went from 52.5 to 50.5, and even down to 49.5 elsewhere around the industry.
Both teams are coming off a tail-kicking in their last games, respectively – 25-6 for WKU, 35-7 for LA Tech. Not all beatdowns are created equal, as LA Tech’s QB Blake Baker got hurt last week, and it showed.
The smart play here feels like the under on 50.5 (-110) ; if Baker plays, he’ll still have some level of trouble. And if Baker doesn’t play, LA Tech will go to an extremely run-heavy offense and likely wind up killing the clock. WKU doesn’t allow big plays, so that’s playing right into it.
Lakers-Warriors on Opening Night is almost as good as it gets, we’re just missing LeBron James for this one. We still got Steph Curry and Luka Doncic on the same court, and you know we’re getting in on some props with these two.
Curry to dish out 6+ assists (+102) has solid value, considering that’s how many he averaged last season. Jimmy Butler appears to be healthy to start the season, so let’s take advantage of him at full strength; he had 6+ rebounds in his last seven playoff games to end last season, and he’s +112 to grab that much tonight.
On the Lakers side, it begins and ends with Doncic tonight. The LeBron injury puts things solely on the Slovenian, and I feel like he could have one of those insane video-game-like stat lines at the end of Opening Night.
Luka’s over on 46.5 points + rebounds + assists (PRA) have -125 juice attached to it, indicating that we’re already barking up the right tree. In three games (March 16-19) without LeBron in the lineup last season, he had PRA numbers of 52, 44, and 46 – the 44 was on the back end of a back-to-back set.
