World Cup 2010: Ivory Coast Squad – Sven Goran-Eriksson Calls Up The Usual Suspects

Ivory Coast coach Sven Goran-Eriksson named his 30-man provisional World Cup squad today, but there were no real surprises in the roster.

Premier League top scorer Didier Drogba leads at the front of the pack, with the rest of the talented side virtually picking themselves after a good season for many of the Elephants at club level.

Ivory Coast have been drawn in World Cup Group G, alongside Brazil, Portugal and North Korea – in a section which many consider to be the group of death at this year’s event.
