Wolverhampton Wanderer's Paul Lambert sweats over Carl Ikeme’s fitness

Paul Lambert has said that he is unsure of Carl Ikeme’s inclusion in his squad to face Cardiff on Saturday.

The 30-year-old shot-stopper sustained an hamstring injury while away on international duty with Nigeria. And his manager claims it is too early to decide whether or not he will face Neil Warnock’s side.

“Carl’s got a knock at the minute so we are having to monitor him," Lambert told Expressandstar.

"We will see how he is. It’s a bit early to say (for the weekend). We will see how it develops and if he is going to be OK.

“In terms of the others who are back, they are all OK. There are still one or two away. Hopefully, they come through their games OK.”

The Molineux outfit are placed 16th, with 45 points from 37 games, in the English Championship log. They will be hoping to extend their three-game winning run when they host the Bluebirds.
