Who did Chikwelu, Omagbemi & the top stars vote for in the FIFA Best Women’s Player Award?

Nigeria’s Rita Chikwelu picked Taylor Jodie for the Best FIFA Women's Player award, while Florence Omagbemi voted for eventual winners Lieke Martens.

Netherlands’ Martens won the award in London on Tuesday — her first after edging Carli Lloyd and Deyna Castellanos to the prize.

Each voter selected a player for first place, second place, and third place, with the recipients getting five points for a first-place vote, three points for second place and one point for third. Players were not allowed to vote for themselves.

Chikwelu, as Super Falcons captain, selected Jodie in first place, Lloyd Carli in second and Miedema Vivianne in third.

Former Nigeria women’s handler Omagbemi went with Martens, Bronze Lucy in second and Marozsán Dzsenifer in third.
