Having seen his men fell to a second consecutive defeat in their Malaysia Cup campaign, Selangor head coach Nazliazmi Nasir criticised the inability of a few of his charges' to repay his faith.

On Saturday, they lost their second Group D match, this time 2-0 to Pahang at the Shah Alam Stadium. Last weekend they lost 3-0 to PKNP FC at the same venue.

Speaking in the post-match presser, Nazliazmi remarked that almost all of the members of his squad have been given playing time this season, but not everyone's performance has been up to scratch.

"I always tell my players that they are selected based on their current performance, whereas I have given almost everyone playing minutes this season. I don't have favourites and I know they  all want to play.

"But there have been a few who fail to repay the trust I have given them," he noted.

The goals in the match were scored by Muslim Ahmad (30') and Norshahrul Idlan Talaha (54'). The Red Giants' next match will be away to Sabah, next Saturday.
