Morocco have confirmed friendly fixtures against Serbia and Uzbekistan during this month’s international break.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation disclosed preparations tabled for the north African country before the 2018 World Cup tournament.
Herve Renard’s men who progressed to their first World Cup finals since 1998 will begin their preparation for the global showpiece with a friendly tie against Serbia at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino in Turin on March 23.
Four days later, the 1976 Africa Cup of Nations champions will host Uzbekistan at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.
“The national A squad will play two friendlies against Serbia and Uzbekistan as they prepare for the finals of the 21st edition of the 2018 World Cup,” read a statement on FRMF website.
Having qualified for the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia without conceding a goal in their qualification group, Morocco will battle Iran, Portugal and Spain in Group B when the quadrennial event kick-off on June 14.
