Jeisson Vargas has joined Chilean club Universidad Catolica for the 2019 season, Montreal have confirmed. The 21-year-old has returned to his former club, who he left in 2016 to join Italian side Bologna. Vargas scored four goals in 19 MLS appearances during the 2018 season.

Isco's time at Real Madrid could soon be at an end as the playmaker aired his frustration over a lack of opportunities at the club. The Spain international has not started a Liga match under new coach Santiago Solari, leading to many questioning his future in the Spanish capital. Former Madrid man Ruben de la Red recently spoke to AS, stating that the club 'waits for no one' as anyone not performing to the required level will be immediately replaced in the starting XI. Dick Advocaat has turned down the chance to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst as Feyenoord manager. Advocaat has since confirmed he will not join the Rotterdam side, saying the negative response to the prospect of him taking the job convinced him not to follow it through.
