Everton lead Arsenal in chase for Dakonam

Everton have taken a step ahead of Arsenal in the race to sign Togo international Djene Dakonam, per talk Sport .

The Getafe centre-back was one of the stand-out defenders in the Spanish top-flight last season with a total of 150 clearances and 74 interceptions in 34 La Liga appearances.

The Gunners are keen on signing Dakonam this summer after Unai Emery went to watch him in action in March but their limited transfer budget could be a hindering factor.

Meanwhile, the Toffees are looking for a possible replacement for Kurt Zouma, who has been on loan from Chelsea.

West Ham join Arsenal & Spurs in Kessie pursuit

West Ham United are set to battle London neighbours Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, according to the Express .

Milan are willing to consider offers for the Ivorian midfielder in the region of £30 million as they aim to comply with the Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

The report further stated that Kessie would prefer a club that will be competing in Europe next season, which puts Arsenal and Spurs in pole position.

Man Utd prepare improved bid for Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United are preparing a second bid for Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Sky Sports .

The Red Devils had a £40 million bid for the DR Congolese descent turned down over the weekend but they will make an improved offer despite Palace's holding out for a £60m fee.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Wan-Bissaka as one of his priority signings this summer and he could be United's second signing of the transfer window after Daniel James' move from Swansea City.

Sassuolo close in on Okereke

Sassuolo are close to signing Spezia attacker David Okereke after a fine campaign in the Italian Serie B, according to Gianluca Di Marzio .

The Nigerian forward was outstanding in the second-tier league with 10 goals and 12 assists in 30 outings for Spezia.

Southampton are also interested in signing to the 22-year-old.

Ola Aina to join Torino

Chelsea have agreed a deal to sell defender Ola Aina to Torino this summer, Goal understands.

Aina spent last season on loan with the Serie A club and looks set to return there permanently after impressing with his defensive contributions.

Torino president Urbano Cairo confirmed that the club has exercised their option to buy Aina with the defender's current deal set to expire at the end of June.
