Commentary

That is all for tonight folks, thanks for joining us. Goodbye!
The Hammers are back in action away at Leicester on Sunday, while Watford will welcome Brighton to Vicarage Road on Saturday.
Hodgson tastes defeat for the first time as Watford boss, but he has undoubtedly made them difficult opponents. Without a lucky deflection, the Hornets would be travelling home with a share of the points. Hodgson's side still have work to do in the final third if they want to avoid the drop, but he has got them playing for him, which is a start!
Bowen's deflected strike is the difference between the two sides as West Ham move back into fourth for the time being. The Hammers will have to wait for Manchester United's game to finish to find out if they will remain there, but they have done their bit after a scrappy game at the London Stadium. West Ham had to wait until the 68th minute to find a way past Watford's stubborn defence, but Bowen's shot took a wicked deflection off Samir, which gave Foster no chance in goal. Foster did well to keep his side in the game on two occasions, denying Benrahma and Bowen, but Hodgson's men did not do enough to trouble Fabianski, with Cleverley coming close from the edge of the box.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: WEST HAM 1-0 WATFORD.
90' Three minutes of stoppage time to come!
88' Watford have shown plenty of heart tonight, but they have lacked the quality needed in the final third to beat Fabianski.
86' CLOSE! Joao Pedro plays a teasing cross towards King, who only needed to poke the ball home, but the Norwegian could not meet the cross after it took a deflection off Zouma.
84' WHAT A SAVE! Foster keeps Watford in the game as he denies Bowen. The Hammers ace thought he had doubled his tally for the night after cutting into the box on his left foot. He curled his shot towards the far corner, but Foster tipped his effort onto the post, and Watford manage to clear!
V. Coufal
Yellow Card
83' Coufal is booked for dissent after a rant at the linesman!
80' Watford's subs do not have long to make an impact, and it is going to be hard for Hodgson's side to adjust with only 10 minutes of normal time remaining.
J. Ngakia
Kiko Femenía
78' Watford's third change sees Ngakia replace Femenia.
I. Louza
E. Kayembe
77' Midfielder Kayembe also makes way, with Louza his replacement.
João Pedro
T. Cleverley
77' Joao Pedro is the first man onto the pitch for Watford, with Cleverley the one to make way.
76' Watford are preparing a triple substitution as they try to draw level!
75' SAVE! Fabianski flies across his goal to deny Cleverley, whose strike appeared to be finding the top corner. That's a huge save at a crucial stage of proceedings.
74' Bowen has been directly involved in 14 PL goals in 24 games this season, one more than he managed in 38 games last term.
72' CHANCE! Watford launch a quick counter-attack as King takes on three West Ham defenders before teeing up Cleverley. The midfielder was off-balance as he tried to score, and he curled his shot into the stands as a result.
71' BLOCK! West Ham have picked up the pace, and it is helping their cause, although Soucek's latest shot from inside the box is blocked behind for a corner.
M. Lanzini
Assist
68' Moyes' substitution pays off as Lanzini picks up the assist for Bowen's goal.
J. Bowen
Goal
68' GOAAAALL!!!! WEST HAM 1-0 WATFORD - Bowen fires the Hammers into the lead, although the home side get a huge stroke of luck in the process. The Hammers winger picked up Lanzini's cross in midfield before dribbling his way to the edge of the box. His left-footed strike looked tame, but it clipped Samir on the leg, and the deflection sent Foster the wrong way!
66' Burnley are now level at Turf Moor against Manchester United, which could have huge implications on tonight's result.
65' West Ham concede a corner, but Femenia's cross is blocked by Soucek at the near post!
64' The Hammers have yet to bring Antonio into the game, and he has been a passenger so far. Hopefully, for Moyes, Lanzini's introduction will get the best out of the Jamaica international.
61' Newcastle are now beating Everton 2-1, which puts more pressure on Watford this evening.
M. Lanzini
S. Benrahma
60' Lanzini makes his way onto the pitch, with Benrahma the one to make way.
59' Coufal does well to win the Hammers a corner as his cross is blocked, even though it looked like he had run out of room near the corner flag.
57' West Ham are preparing a substitution, and it looks like Lanzini will be coming on shortly.
56' King's cross is deflected, but the former Bournemouth man wins a corner for the visitors!
55' Brighton's Graham Potter is in attendance tonight, with the Seagulls Watford's next opponents.
53' OVER! Coufal's throw-in finds its way to Benrahma at the far post, but the Hammers midfielder leans back as he pulls the trigger, and he finds the stands rather than the back of the net.
50' West Ham are without a win in their last four Premier League games when level at half-time, losing three and drawing one.
48' Elsewhere in the Premier League, Manchester United are beating Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor. That is good news for Watford at the wrong end of the table but bad news for the Hammers, who will fall further behind in the race for the top four if the scores stay the same.
46' We are back under way at the London Stadium. Will West Ham improve in the second 45 minutes?
Watford will fancy their chances of scoring on the counter-attack as West Ham grow more and more desperate, but if the Hammers can get Antonio and Bowen more involved, they could soon take the lead. Even though we've had very few chances, it promises to be a fascinating second half.
Hodgson will be the happier of the two managers as the half-time whistle sounds at the London Stadium. The former England boss has made Watford hard to break down already, and Moyes will need to get more out of his team in the second half if they are to collect all three points. Kucka wasted Watford's best chance as he headed wide from a counter-attack, while Benrahma had two efforts go close. Foster smothered the first before the forward, then hit the frame of the goal with the rebound.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME - WEST HAM 0-0 WATFORD.
45' One minute of stoppage time to come at the end of the first half!
43' Watford hold firm once again, and they clear the danger without any hesitation. This is a much stronger defensive unit under Hodgson!
42' Another corner to come from West Ham... Bowen to take!
41' CLOSE! King appeals for a penalty after a strong challenge from Rice inside the box, but the linesman's flag is up anyway for offside. Replays show it was a well-timed tackle from Rice, but that is another warning sign for the Hammers.
38' It has taken nearly 40 minutes, but that was West Ham's best chance to score so far this evening, and that could be what they need to kickstart their evening.
37' SO SO CLOSE!!!! West Ham waste several chances to score, but Watford survive thanks to a save from Foster, while the woodwork also denies the home side. Bowen created the opportunity with a defence-splitting pass, but Foster rushed out to deny Benrahma. The loose ball fell back into the feet of the former Brentford man, but instead of squaring it to Antonio, he rattled his shot off the frame of the goal.
33' West Ham's recent results seem to have affected their confidence. Successive league defeats and a narrow win over Kidderminster is not the ideal preparation for tonight's game, and Moyes' men look a little short of confidence.
30' Panic over for Watford as Samir makes his way back onto the pitch!
28' Samir has stayed down after that set-piece, and he is receiving treatment after a goalmouth scramble.
28' OVER! Soucek meets Bowen's cross with speed, but he gets underneath the ball and heads over the crossbar!
27' Chance here for West Ham as they win a corner...
26' WIDE! Sissoko tries his luck from the edge of the West Ham box, but the former Tottenham man drags his shot wide. While the Hornets failed to force Fabianski into making a save, that was another good counter-attack, with Dennis at the heart of it.
23' Groans can be heard from the stands, and West Ham fans are growing frustrated as their team continue to give the ball away.
20' Watford have made a strong start, and they appear to be setting traps for West Ham. Hodgson's men are waiting for the Hammers to make a mistake in possession before then pushing forward with pace.
17' CHANCE! Watford register the first real shot towards goal, but Kucka fails to force a save out of Fabianski. A quick-fire counter-attack from the Hornets allowed Kamara to pick out Kucka, but the latter headed wide at the far post.
16' West Ham have had 129 passes in the first 15 minutes of the match, but they have nothing to show for it yet.
14' King's injury was minor, and after recomposing himself, he is back playing, and the game is back under way.
13' Watford have an injury to worry about as King sits down near the halfway line, but it does not look like he wants to receive treatment.
10' Zouma's inclusion tonight will have raised eyebrows following today's media reports. The Hammers defender has apologised after a disturbing video showed him kicking his own cat, but Moyes has decided to throw him into the deep end. The former Chelsea defender has been booed every time he has touched the ball, and that is likely to continue for the rest of the evening.
9' If the first eight minutes are anything to go by, then West Ham will need to show patience tonight, with Watford staying compact and giving away very little space.
6' Hodgson's side have made a decent start to this contest, keeping Bowen and Antonio quiet for the opening few minutes.
3' We have had nothing to get excited about yet, with neither side able to register a shot on goal.
1' We are under way in London!
Both teams are out on the field of play at the London Stadium, and we are nearly ready for kick-off.
West Ham have won their last four Premier League matches against Watford, scoring at least three goals in each victory, including a 4-1 win earlier this campaign at Vicarage Road.
Moyes makes eight changes to the side that beat Kidderminster in the FA Cup as Bowen, Zouma and Benrahma are the only players to keep their place. Antonio returns to the fold after arriving late from international duty. Hodgson makes two alterations to the team that earned a point against Burnley as Dennis and Cleverley replace Joao Pedro and Sema.
SUBS: Daniel Bachmann, Adam Masina, Jeremy Ngakia, Ken Sema, Imran Louza, Joao Pedro, Samuel Kalu, Christian Kabasele, Juan Hernandez.
WATFORD (4-4-2): Ben Foster; Kiko Femenia, Craig Cathcart, Samir, Hassane Kamara; Juraj Kucka, Moussa Sissoko, Edo Kayembe, Tom Cleverley; Emmanuel Dennis, Josh King.

Watford are winless in their last 10 matches in all competitions, with their last success coming against Manchester United in November. Although they remain in the bottom three, Roy Hodgson will take confidence from his side's 0-0 draw against Burnley as he tries to keep his team in the top flight.
David Moyes' side have lost their previous two league games, a run of form that has seen them drop to fifth in the Premier League table. With Manchester United playing Burnley this evening, the Hammers surely must get all three points if they want to move back into the top four.
Good evening and welcome to tonight's live coverage of the Premier League encounter between West Ham and Watford. The Hammers were last in action at the weekend, as they narrowly avoided a huge upset when coming back from behind to beat Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Cup. On Saturday, Watford were held to a goalless league draw by Burnley, and both teams will be desperate for three points at opposite ends of the table.
