Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
It ends all square between Leicester and West Brom, which on the balance of play is a fair result, although not the one the respective managers would have been hoping for. The Baggies took the lead through Nacer Chadli's stunning free-kick just after the hour mark, but Riyad Mahrez rescued a point for the home side with his first goal of the season. Leicester and West Brom extend their winless runs' in the Premier League to six matches, but still claim a vital point this evening.

82' SAVE! Space opens up for Maguire from distance and he lines up a strike on his right foot. He gets the power and the accuracy on his effort, but Myhill comes up with an important stop.
I. Slimani
Assist
80' Slimani nods the ball back to Mahrez to strike from inside the box.
R. Mahrez
Goal
80' GOALLLLLLLL!!! LEICESTER ARE LEVEL! Mahrez brings Leicester back into the contest with a well-taken goal from inside the box. Chilwell's cross into the box was headed back into the path of the winger by Slimani. He controlled the ball on his chest taking it away from Barry before drilling a right-footed effort on the half-volley past Myhill into the bottom corner. Game on.
79' Dawson raids forward and fires the ball to the back post for Chadli. He cannot bring the ball under control at the first time of asking, but tries to offload to Gibbs, only to be denied by Maguire.
77' WIDE! The Foxes commit men forward, but the visitors hold firm at the back. Ndidi is forced into a strike from distance, but his effort is poor and trickles harmlessly wide of the post.
75' Leicester have made two of their three changes and could be in line for a direct route with the additon of Slimani into the action.
I. Slimani
K. Iheanacho
74' Iheanacho makes way for Slimani.
B. Chilwell
D. Simpson
74' Chilwell replaces Simpson for the home side.
71' Frustration continues for the home side as the offside flag goes up, bringing an end to a promising attack after Myhill fumbled a cross into the box.
69' BLOCK! Chadli feeds Krychowiak on the edge of the box for a strike from the free-kick, but a wall of blue shirts stop his strike reaching the target.
M. Albrighton
Yellow Card
68' Schmeichel throws the ball out loosely and it allows the Baggies to win back possession. Albrighton is forced into a foul on Dawson, drawing a yellow card from the referee's pocket.
68' Krychowiak leads a break out from the back and feeds Rondon down the left flank. He sends a cross into the box, but it's a fraction too high for Rodriguez as Schmeichel claims behind him.
67' West Brom are disciplined at the back and keep the Foxes in front of them. There's no space for Vardy in behind the visitors' defence.
65' Leicester are struggling to keep possession at the moment and you have to wonder how long it will be before Shakespeare makes a change.
N. Chadli
Goal
63' GOALLLLLL!!!!!!!!!! CHADLI SCORES A STUNNER! From the resulting free-kick Chadli curls his effort over the wall with power and the ball sails into the top corner from 30 yards out. Schmeichel took a step in the wrong direction and couldn't recover, allowing the ball to find the net uncontested. West Brom had been putting the pressure on and their efforts have been rewarded.
K. Iheanacho
Yellow Card
62' Iheanacho goes into the book for his foul on Krychowiak.
62' Morgan makes an important header away to clear the corner, but Iheanacho gives away a free-kick as he tries to lead a counter for the home side.
61' West Brom are exerting pressure on the Leicester goal for the first time in the contest as Simpson is forced to head behind under duress.
60' Rodriguez latches on to a long ball forward and he fires the ball across the face of goal, but Gibbs is unable to reach it on the slide at the back post.
59' Chadli and Rodriguez combine down the right and the latter's low ball into the box almost finds Rondon, but Maguire clears ahead of the forward.
58' Myhill continues to struggle with his clearances as he pulls up in pain after booting the ball towards the half-way line.
57' Morgan comes in with a hard but fair challenge on Rondon to win back possession for the Foxes in their own half. However, the West Brom forward reacts and wins a throw-in for his team with an effective shoulder barge.
56' Iheanacho makes a move in the fina third and tries to release Vardy through the middle, but Dawson steps in to make the interception at the back.
53' The West Brom keeper is ok to continue as of now, but substitute keeper Alex Palmer is warming up on the sideline.
52' Myhill looks in trouble to continue after the collision. He requires treatment before we can continue after Mahrez's miss.
51' WHAT A MISS! Mahrez should put Leicester ahead, but he smashes his effort over the bar. It could be a contender for miss of the season as he latches on to Albrighton's low cross into box, but Mahrez loses his composure on his preferred foot, hammering his effort well over.
50' Vardy goes on the surge down the left, but between Evans and Dawson they manage to stop his initial run.
48' BLOCK! Mahrez's delivery loops up off the head of Livermore and Maguire challenges at the back post. The defender heads low towards the bottom corner, but Dawson is there to clear the ball behind.
B. Myhill
Yellow Card
47' Myhill goes into the book for his challenge on Vardy.
47' The referee awards a free-kick on the right side of the box. Not the penalty that the Foxes wanted.
46' Immediately Vardy breaks down the right flank seizing on a mistake from Hegazi. He knocks the ball past Myhill and then the two collide on the edge of the box. What will be the referee's decision here?
46' We're back underway at the King Power Stadium.
The players are back out on the pitch, so we should be underway again shortly.
It's goalless at the break at the King Power Stadium between Leicester and West Brom. It has been a half lacking in clear-cut opportunities, although Boaz Myhill was forced into action to deny Danny Simpson for the home side. That's the closest either side have come to breaking the deadlock, with an improvement in quality needed in the final third after the interval.
HALF-TIME: LEICESTER 0-0 WEST BROM
45' + 1' The referee ends the first half.
45' There will be one minute of added time.
45' Leicester keep their attack alive and Albrighton finds space down the right inside channel and fires the ball across the face of goal, but Vardy and Iheanacho are nowhere to be seen inside the six-yard box.
45' Iheanacho surges towards the edge of the box, but before he can pull the trigger, Evans gets there to poke the ball away from the forward.
43' Mahrez swings the resulting corner into the box, but the Baggies defend well in numbers and the attack from the Foxes ends as Morgan fouls on Hegazi.
42' CHANCE! Simpson raids down the right and sends the ball into the box. Iborra meets his cross on the half-volley, but the effort looks to be travelling wide of the post. However, Vardy is active and tries to latch on to the ball, only to be denied as Hegazi heads over his own bar. Solid defending.
40' West Brom break forward down the right through Dawson and he lays the ball back into the path of Krychowiak to strike from distance. However, the Pole can only fire his effort well over the bar from 25 yards.
37' Barry slides the ball through to Rodriguez making a run across the Leicester defence, but as he tries to turn to shoot, Maguire is there to make the intervention.
35' SAVE! A long throw from Fuchs is directed into the path of Simpson on the right flank and he hammers an effort through a crowd of players. However, he is denied the opening goal through his strong strike by a fine reaction stop from Myhill, who palms the ball away. Iborra flicks the ball over the bar on the rebound.
33' Mahrez opens up the West Brom defence for a second with a neat turn, but he opts to feed Albrighton instead of firing at goal. The winger's cross is blocked at the near post by Barry, with the visitors able to scramble the ball away from danger.
31' The free-kick comes to nothing as Mahrez plays the ball out to Fuchs, who floats his cross down the throat of Myhill. The quality has not been there from either side thus far.
30' A mistake at the back by Hegazi allows Vardy to break, although his offload finds Iheanacho in an offside position. However, the home side still win a free-kick as Evans brings down Vardy.
29' Leicester look for the quick switch on the counter, but Albrighton's ball over the top of the West Brom defence is headed clear by Hegazi at the back.
26' Evans has swapped sides with Hegazi at the back for the visitors and it appears to have quelled the threat from Vardy down the left flank for now. Gibbs' covering pace should protect the centre-back if the Foxes attempt to use the same tactic with Vardy on the opposite flank.
24' Leicester are having success moving into the West Brom half, but as soon as they approach the edge of the box, the space is compacted leaving them nowhere to turn but back with the ball.
23' Ndidi breaks into space down the right and he lifts a low cross into the box. Vardy and Albrighton are in the area, but Evans reads the danger and is able to clear ahead of the Leicester forward.
22' Maguire goes for a speculative long ball forward and he tries to play Vardy into space down the channel, only for the ball to head straight out of play.
20' In a clash between two resilient sides you would expect a few meaty challenges and Rodriguez is fortunate to escape a booking for a late lunge on Albrighton.
17' WIDE! Gibbs makes a run into the left inside channel to link up with Rondon in the final third. He lifts a cross into the path of Chadli on the edge of the box, but the winger pulls his volleyed effort wide of the post.
15' The Baggies are more than content to sit on the edge of their own box and allow the home side to dominate possession. It's going to be a battle for the Foxes to break them down.
13' BLOCK! Iheanacho finds space on the edge of the box and he tees up Albrighton for the strike, only for Evans to make a vital block to stop his low effort.
12' Leicester probe the edge of the West Brom box, but there are plenty of white shirts behind the ball to limit their progress in the final third.
10' Mahrez loses possession on the edge of his own box and it allows Gibbs to whip a cross into the Leicester penalty area. However, Rodriguez is unable to control at the back post and the Foxes clear the danger.
9' CLOSE! Mahrez whips the ball into the box and it travels through everyone in the area, but trickles inches past the post. Close for the home side.
Ahmed Hegazi
Yellow Card
8' Hegazi is booked for his foul on Vardy.
7' Hegazi and Vardy collide for the third time in the match and the defender puts his arm in the face of the Leicester forward, leading to a free-kick in another dangerous position.
6' Mahrez whips the ball in to the box from the left flank, but Krychowiak reads the danger and is able to clear his lines in the six-yard box.
5' Vardy runs down the left flank again and on this occasion he wins a free-kick in a good attacking position after the forward is fouled by Hegazi.
4' Vardy goes on the charge down the left flank and tries to win a corner off Hegazi, but the ball deflects back off the forward and goes out for a goal-kick.
3' Long balls are exchanged between both sides at the start of the contest, with the teams adopting a direct approach.
1' We're underway at the King Power Stadium.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
STAT ATTACK! West Brom are unbeaten on their last seven trips to Leicester, winning five of the contests.
STAT ATTACK! The two sides have meet six times in the Premier League, with Leicester winning three of the contests and West Brom claiming two victories.
FLASHBACK! West Brom claimed a 2-1 win on their last visit to the King Power Stadium. James Morrison put the Baggies ahead, only for Islam Slimani to equalise. However, Matt Phillips scored the decisive goal 18 minutes from time to hand Pulis' men the victory.
West Brom have made three changes from their draw against Watford at The Hawthorns last time out. Ben Foster is out due to injury, with Boaz Myhill replacing him between the sticks. Jake Livermore and Nacer Chadli also come into the side, replacing Chris Brunt and Matt Phillips, who drop to the bench.
Leicester have made three changes from their goalless draw against Bournemouth. Kelechi Iheanacho, Vincente Iborra and Riyad Mahrez come into the fold this evening, replacing Shinji Okazaki, Andy King and Demarai Gray.
West Brom subs: Nyon, Yacob, Phillips, Brunt, McClean, McAuley, Palmer.
WEST BROM (4-3-3): Myhill; Dawson, Hegazi, Evans, Gibbs; Livermore, Krychowiak, Barry; Rodriguez, Rondon, Chadli.
Leicester subs: Chilwell, Gray, King, Hamer, Amartey, Slimani, Okazaki.
LEICESTER (4-4-2): Schmeichel; Simpson, Maguire, Morgan, Fuchs; Mahrez, Iborra, Ndidi, Albrighton; Iheanacho, Vardy.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
After winning their opening two matches of the season, West Brom are without a win in their last five Premier League matches. As a result, they've fallen from the upper echelons of the league into mid-table. The Baggies surrendered a two-goal lead against Watford last time out to draw 2-2, which will make Tony Pulis' men determined to get over the line tonight.
Leicester are in need of a victory this evening to move out of the relegation zone. Craig Shakespeare's men have faced tough opponents at the start of the campaign, but a failure to gain three points today will put the pressure on the Foxes.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Leicester and West Brom at the King Power Stadium.
