Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Barcelona secure a comfortable 2-0 win this evening over Malaga to extend their lead at the top of LaLiga. Goals from Gerard Deulofeu and Andres Iniesta were enough to secure the win, although Deulofeu's effort should not have counted as the ball was out of play in the build-up. Malaga battled well in the contest and could have found themselves back in the game had Gonzalo Castro taken his opportunities. However, Michel's men remain bottom of the table, with only one point from nine matches.
FULL-TIME: BARCELONA 2-0 MALAGA

Goal
Barcelona
56' GOALLLLLLL!!!!! BARCA DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! Iniesta notches his side's second goal as latches onto Messi's pass in the inside left channel and hammers his effort past Prieto. The ball did take a deflection off the boot of Rosales after the strike, but it was on the path to goal anyway. Better intensity from Barcelona to reaffirm their control of the game.
54' SAVE! Messi almost atones for his error as he moves across the box to create room for a strike. He hammers his left-footed effort at goal, but Prieto gets down well to make the stop.
53' Rakitic lifts the ball over the top of the Malaga backline, but for once Messi's control lets him down as he fails to bring the ball under control.

Barcelona lead Malaga 1-0 at the break at the Camp Nou through Gerard Deulofeu's controversial strike. The home side took the lead in the second minute when the winger converted Lucas Digne's cross, but the ball had gone out before the Frenchman had sent it in from the left flank. However, the officials did not spot it and the goal counted. The Catalan club have been far from their best this evening and there have been opportunities for Malaga, but Gonzalo Castro has spurned two good chances in the box.
HALF-TIME: BARCELONA 1-0 MALAGA

40' Messi lifts a dangerous ball forward into the box and Suarez almost collects, but Hernandez does well to clear with a convincing header at the back. He had to make that interception.
Adrián
Yellow Card
Málaga
39' Adrian goes into the book for a foul on Busquets.
38' The tempo of the match has bee very slow by Barcelona's standards. They've only got a one-goal lead and Valverde will want to see an injection of pace to get a second goal before the break.
36' Messi breaks free through the middle and has options to the left and right of him, but he fails to find Suarez on the left with his pass as Rosales makes the interception.
34' The visitors are playing decent football, although Barcelona are hardly forcing the issue this evening.
32' Baysse is caught by Deulofeu as he tries to clear the ball and it hands Malaga a free-kick on the left flank to clear their lines.
30' WIDE! Perez raids down the left flank and fires the ball across the face of goal. Castro makes a run, but can only guide his header wide of the post. He had to do better with that effort from close range.
28' BLOCK! The referee puts a line down for the wall to stand, but Malaga move three yards ahead of it. The official does not tell them to get back and tells Messi to get on with his strike. Messi takes the free-kick, only to slam his effort straight into the wall. Malaga clear the danger from th rebound.

Yellow Card
Málaga
26' Hernandez goes into the book for his handball.

22' Perez does well at the back post to deny Sergi Roberto as the defender tried to latch on to Iniesta's cross at the back post.
R. Rosales
Yellow Card
Málaga
21' Rosales goes into the book for a foul on Iniesta.
18' Barca clear the first delivery from the right, but Rosales' second ball causes problems as Rolan tries to reach it at the back post. However, the Uruguayan is flagged offside as he takes possession. The striker just mistimed his run.
17' Penaranda bursts forward through the middle and he goes for the strike from 25 yards, but Mascherano diverts his effort behind for a corner.
15' Barcelona are moving the ball with ease in the Malaga half, but the visitors are providing stubborn resistance around their box. Given their position and the manner of the opening goal it would have been easy for Malaga to fold, but they're holding firm for now.
13' Messi and Iniesta combine to drive to the edge of the box. Digne joins the attack on the left flank and fires the ball low into the box, but Hernandez makes a good sliding challenge to stop the cross.
11' Rolan wins the ball from Sergi Roberto with a strong challenge. He rolls his pass to Penaranda on the edge of the box, but the midfielder loses possession before he can fire at goal.
10' WIDE! Iniesta sends a teasing cross into the box and Prieto comes off the line to gather. Raktic avoids the contact and misses the ball as it trickles wide of the net. The midfielder should have been a tad braver there.
7' Barcelona are controlling the pace of the game. Thanks to their early goal they don't have to force the issue.
5' Baysse rises highest in the box to head Rosales' cross at goal. Rolan twists and turns trying to get a head on it, but he cannot make contact as the ball heads wide of the post.
4' Rolan moves into space to capitalise on Umtiti's mistake at the back, but Mascherano on the slide stops the ball from reaching the net.
L. Digne
Assist
Barcelona
2' Digne raids down the the left flank. His first cross is blocked by Rosales and should be a corner. However, the referee and the linesman fail to spot the ball has headed out of play. With his second delivery, the Frenchman picks out Deulofeu to score.
Deulofeu
Goal
Barcelona
2' GOALLLL!!!! BARCELONA TAKE THE LEAD! The home side benefit from a terrible decision to take the lead. Deulofeu flicks the ball home with his heel from Digne's cross, but the ball had gone out of play before the Frenchman had put the ball into the box. All the Malaga players had stopped, allowing Deulofeu to score. It's fair to say they're not happy about the decision and they're well within their rights to think so.
1' We're underway at the Camp Nou.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.

Andres Prieto, Gonzalo Castro, Adrian Gonzalez and Keko start for Malaga this evening in four changes made from their defeat to Leganes last time out.
Valverde has made two changes from his side's win over Olympiacos. Javier Mascherano and Ivan Raktic come into the fold to replace Paulinho and Gerard Pique, with both players dropping to the bench this evening.
Malaga subs: Baston, Juanpi, Cifu, Gonen, Cecchini, Robles, Mula.
MALAGA (4-2-3-1): Prieto; Rosales, Hernandez, Baysse, Perez; Rolon, Gonzalez; Keko, Castro, Rolan; Penaranda.
Barcelona subs: Semedo, Pique, Denis Suarez, Cillessen, Paulinho, Alcacer, Gomes.
BARCELONA (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Sergi Roberto, Mascherano, Umtiti, Digne; Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta; Messi, Suarez, Deulofeu.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Malaga are rock bottom of the LaLiga table after claiming only one points from their opening eight matches. Michel Gonzalez’s side were beaten 2-0 by Leganes last week and are looking in a host of trouble this evening without the services of Jose Recio and Zdravko Kuzmanovic in the middle of the park.
Barcelona's 100% record was ended in LaLiga in their last match, drawing 1-1 with Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitana. Luis Suarez scored a late goal to earn the point after Ernesto Valverde's men trailed to Saul Niguez's opener. They defeated Olympiacos with relative ease during the week and will be looking for another strong performance this evening.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the LaLiga clash between Barcelona and Malaga at the Nou Camp.
