Wrexham appeared to be suffering from a hangover from their promotion party, getting off to a worrying start as Lincoln bombarded their goal early on. The hosts came close in the 20th minute as Sean Roughan found Ben House in a good position, but he fumbled when it came to taking the shot. It wasn't until the half-hour mark that Wrexham looked like threatening when James McClean crossed to Sam Smith, but his volley went wide.
Lincoln were certainly the better team throughout the first 45 minutes, though, and Wrexham had Arthur Okonkwo to thank for going in level at the break as a strong save denied Reeco Hackett just before the whistle.
Wrexham came out fighting in the second half, causing trouble in the Imps' box. And eight minutes after the interval they were ahead as Ryan Longman sent a deadly cross in for Lee to head home. Before long, they were 2-0 up - this time Longman rounded off a fine team move with an assist from McClean.
Lincoln grew back into the game, but it was too little too late as a buoyant Wrexham side ensured they can keep the party going on their way to the Championship.
