United States international Pulisic was expected to have put pen to paper by now. Fresh terms for the 26-year-old forward have been rumoured for some time, with Milan understandably keen to get him tied down.

Pulisic has been posting personal bests again in 2024-25, with 17 goals being recorded across all competitions, and his standing at San Siro is ready to be rewarded with a lucrative deal that will make him one of Milan’s highest paid players.

A first trophy with the Rossoneri has been secured by the American forward, but he missed out on Coppa Italia glory and is in danger of seeing Milan fall short in their bid to secure European qualification for 2025-26.

Amid talk of transfer interest being shown ahead of the summer window, Pulisic continues to mull over his options. According to Relevo, “the boy asked for time because before signing he wants to understand the various evolutions at a sporting level”.

Pulisic is eager to learn who will be Milan manager next season and which prominent figures will be calling the shots in directorial posts. He has spoken of his happiness in Italy on a regular basis, so a contract extension may yet be thrashed out with a man that has rediscovered his spark since bidding farewell to Premier League giants Chelsea in 2023.
