If a place in the Championship were to be secured, then ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ will return to screens in 2026. Club director Shaun Harvey said at Insider’s Wrexham and North Wales round table discussion: “If we get promoted again, that virtually guarantees another series for the documentary. That gives you another 12 months of the same international profile.”

Harvey added on the journey that Wrexham, as a team and town, have been on: “You cannot buy what we're creating. The opportunity isn't just for us, it's for everybody. We've got the direct ambition of making the football club successful. On the back of that success, part of the mission statement of the owners, right from the start, was: How can we deliver community benefit as a result of the ownership? That community benefit isn't just (for) a person that lives in a house on a local estate. It's the business community as well.”
WHAT NEXT FOR WREXHAM?
Wrexham have drawn their last two games in League One, but still sit third in the division – two points adrift of the automatic promotion spots - and will be back in action on Boxing Day when playing host to Blackpool.
