Looks ahead to USWNT schedule
WHAT HAPPENED?
Speaking on the podcast The Women's Game with ex-USWNT star Sam Mewis, Smith revealed that she is 'still sick to this day' over her socking penalty shootout miss against Sweden in last year's FIFA World Cup. However, she believes the experience has brought the team closer together than before.
For Smith, she's right in the middle of the two at just 23-years-old. However, despite her young age, she's now a seasoned veteran on the international stage with 40 appearances, 15 goals and seven assists.
