'Speed boost loaded!' - USMNT star Christian Pulisic shows off new Puma boots as AC Milan forward hints they could improve his gamestar

The winger has been in fine form since his summer move from Chelsea and is not averse to seeking out some marginal gains to help out his game. Pulisic will wear the recently-released Voltage Pack Puma ULTRA with a "fully re-engineered, lightweight ULTRAWEAVE upper" promising to "take its signature speed and acceleration to the next level."

"Speed boost downloaded," was the simple message from Pulisic as he unveiled his new bright-yellow footwear on social media on Thursday.

Deemed not part of the Todd Boehly revolution at Chelsea, Pulisic has swapped London for Milan to good effect, becoming a regular starter at the San Siro and already notching five goals in 12 Serie A appearances. The 25-year-old's has joined forces with fellow USMNT star Yunus Musah as Milan chase early-season leaders Inter and second-placed Juventus — who have an American duo of their own in the ranks in Weston McKennie and Timothy Weah.

We'll get a chance to judge whether all that fancy new technology does anything from Pulisic's game when his Milan side face a short, but tricky trip to Atalanta in Bergamo on Saturday evening.
