U.S. international Gio Reyna has completed a move from Borussia Dortmund to Borussia Mönchengladbach, linking up with USMNT teammate and close friend Joe Scally.
“Gio brings plenty of experience despite his age, along with significant potential,” Roland Virkus, Gladbach’s managing director for spor, told the club's official website. “We’ve monitored him for some time and are convinced he has the qualities to help us. He knows the Bundesliga well and can play in several attacking roles.”
Per Florian Plettenberg, the transfer is reportedly worth up to $8.25 million (€7 million) with add-ons and includes a 15 percent sell-on clause. His Gladbach contract runs through 2028.
