USMNT prospect Paxten Aaronson pushing for loan exit from Eintracht Frankfurt before January transfer window closes

United States men's national team international Paxten Aaronson, who has clocked only 374 minutes on the pitch this season, is hoping to find a way out of Eintracht Frankfurt before the winter transfer window closes. The Bundesliga side are in talks with several clubs with a view to sending the player out on a short-term loan deal, according to The Athletic.

The German club think highly of the 20-year-old attacker and consider him to be an integral part of their long-term plans. But for now, they want the player to get more game time to help further his development. The Amas are yet to receive a concrete offer for Aaronson but they are reportedly in talks with multiple interested clubs.

The former Philadelphia Union winger received his maiden national team call-up last year and made his debut for the USMNT against Colombia in a friendly match on January 29, 2023, which remains his only international cap till date.

Earlier this month, the American footballer was spotted in Philadelphia with his brother Brenden grabbing a pizza. The player was seen wearing a RB Salzburg coat which fueled speculation about him joining the Austrian club, although no formal offer has been made by the Red Bulls.
