Soweto Derby: Predicting Orlando Pirates' XI to face Swallows FC

This will be Pirates' first PSL match of the 2022-23 season and they will be looking to make a winning start to the new campaign.

Bucs could be boosted by the availability of Paseka Mako and Vincent Pule who sustained long-term injuries last season.

The Houghton-based giants have been busy in the current transfer window signing new p[layers.

Tapelo Xoki (AmaZulu) and Nkosinathi Sibisi (Golden Arrows), Evidence Makgopa (Baroka FC), Bienvenu Eva Nga and Azola Matrose (both Chippa United), Miguel Timm (Marumo Gallants), Shane Saralina (Pele Pele) have all joined Pirates.


Matrose has since been loaned back to Chippa.
