Fans in Africa have expressed mixed reactions following news Cristiano Ronaldo has left Manchester United with immediate effect.
The club and player both gave statements announcing the parting of ways by ‘mutual consent’ on Wednesday in what was a reaction to Ronaldo’s recent interview where he criticised United and manager Erik ten Hag.
Supporters have given conflicting reactions to the issue, with some supporting the club while others feel the player is right and still leaves with his reputation intact.
