Preston’s Milutin Osmajic facing potential four-month ban after being charged by FA for biting Liverpool loanee Owen Beck

Preston's Osmajic has been charged with biting Beck during Preston's clash with Blackburn at the weekend. Beck was actually sent off during the incident after allegedly kicking out at Duane Holmes at Deepdale but Osmajic now faces a lengthy ban after seemingly trying to bite Beck's neck.

Beck protested furiously after being bitten, but Osmajic was only given a yellow card. Now, the FA has charged him with violent conduct and he could be banned for as long as four months, per The Sun.

The Football Association confirmed:  “Milutin Osmajic has been charged following Preston North End’s EFL Championship game against Blackburn Rovers on Sunday, 22 September.

“It’s alleged that the forward committed an act of violent conduct by biting an opponent around the 87th minute.

“Milutin Osmajic has until Monday, September 30, to provide a response.”

Beck will be suspended for Blackburn's clash with QPR this weekend. He will hope to make an impression when he returns as he looks to impress his Liverpool bosses.
