He remains under contract in Turin until the summer of 2026, but those terms have already been reduced as far as possible and may yet be torn up. Pogba has not figured for the Bianconeri since August 2023, making just 12 appearances in total since re-joining the club after his exit from Manchester United in 2022.
WHAT MOTTA & GIUNTOLI SAID
Juve coach Thiago Motta said of the Frenchman when asked about his situation after seeing a worldwide ban from all football activity reduced: “Pogba was a great player.”
Club director Cristiano Giuntoli also referred to Pogba in the past tense when saying ahead of a Serie A clash with Cagliari: “We have to wait for the definitive appeal result. Clearly, he was a great player but has been out for a long time. We’ll wait for the CAS result.”
