    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Per BILD, Bayern Munich have now joined the race to secure the signature of the 22-year-old winger in the upcoming transfer window as they look to bolster their attack. Williams has a €58million (£48m/$62m) release clause in his existing deal which runs until 2027. After extending the contracts of stars like Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala, and Joshua Kimmich, the Bundesliga giants will wait for further sales before they invest any money in fresh transfers.

Everyone respects everyone else, which is incredible. This atmosphere, I’ll never have it anywhere else. I decided to stay because of that. I took the decision I thought was the right one.
