    WHAT HAPPENED?

Mexico’s preparations for the 2026 World Cup in Mexico, the United States and Canada continue to take shape, with Javier Aguirre’s side finalizing another date on their calendar.

After confirming a clash with Marcelo Bielsa’s Uruguay on Saturday, Nov. 15 at TSM Stadium in Torreón, the Mexican federation has reportedly now lined up Paraguay as the second rival of that international window, according to TUDN. That match will be played on Tuesday, Nov. 18, with the venue still to be determined - though Monterrey’s Estadio BBVA is seen as the leading candidate.
