‘Chose the wrong team to f*ck with’ - Memphis Depay bizarrely calls out Kanye West after Atletico Madrid’s Champions League victory over Inter

Two weeks prior, West had attended the first leg between the two sides at San Siro, and Depay did not forget the appearance. In an Instagram story, the Dutch striker stated that the legendary hip-hop artist "chose the wrong team to f*ck with". The former Lyon and Barcelona forward continued, "Now let's go, drop a song for our stadium."

The Dutch forward added his message on a video of a compilation of his best moments during the second-leg clash at the Wanda Metropolitano. The compilation was synced to the background music of 'Carnival' that West premiered on his new album 'Vultures 1' alongside Ty Dolla Sign.

West has created somewhat of a bond with Inter Milan after he sampled their ultras' chants for two songs in his new album 'Vultures 1'. The fan group was even credited officially in the album's credits list.

The Dutchman will shift his focus back onto the football field after producing what was one of his best performances in the Atletico jersey. He will aim to grab a start for Diego Simeone's side when they take on his former side, Barcelona on Sunday, March 17.
