Man Utd snubbed! Youssouf Fofana not interested in joining Erik ten Hag's side as Monaco star only wants AC Milan move

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fofana wants a move to Milan this summer or next - when he is out of contract at Monaco. The midfielder reportedly turned down a West Ham transfer and he is ready to do the same if Erik ten Hag's side come calling.

The French international has reportedly already said yes to a four-year contract at Milan but Monaco are a tough nut to crack. If the 25-year-old does go this summer, the report adds he is unlikely to be sold for anything less than the £17m ($22m) Juventus paid to sign Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram in July.

Fofana began his career at Strasbourg before moving to Monaco in 2020. Since then, the box-to-box midfielder - who is known for his strength, stamina and defensive capabilities - has scored seven goals in 175 appearances and accumulated 21 France caps along the way.

While Fofana reportedly wants the move to Milan, it remains to be seen if the Italian giants will try to sign him this summer. The transfer window shuts in just under three weeks, so there is still time for a deal to be done.
