Luis Suarez shows off striking new look as Inter Miami superstar prepares to return to action with Lionel Messi and Co. against Charlotte FC

Luis Suarez has never been the flashiest of players in world football but his wife Sofia Balbi has now shown off the legendary striker's new look of platinum blond hair. He has also gone for a rather modern haircut with a tight taper fade and more volume on top than the sides.

Suarez has been on top form in Major League Soccer this season as the Uruguayan has scored 17 goals and provided six assists so far in 23 MLS regular season games. The 37-year-old recently announced his retirement from the Uruguayan national team, and that could be excellent news for the Herons as they will no longer miss the legend of the game during international breaks.

Suarez's best friend and team-mate Lionel Messi also sported a similar platinum blond hairstyle look all the way back in 2016, which was followed up by Neymar Jr. While fans had been hoping to see the trio together with blond hair, Suarez never went for the stunning look before this week.

The Uruguayan and Messi will now prepare for Inter Miami's fourth last game of the regular season against Charlotte as they look to continue on top of the Supporters' Shield standings until the end of the campaign.
