<p>The ex-United and Selecao winger shared a couple of photos on social media of himself catching up with his former boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, over breakfast in Portugal. The meet-up happened 10 days after the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/former-man-utd-star-announces-retirement-from-football-after-beautiful-career/blt561d4b40b15d19c3" target="_blank">38-year-old announced his retirement</a> from professional football. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>On his X handled, Nani shared the photographs and wrote in the caption: "Delicious breakfast - this time in Portugal - with the great and special company of Sir Alex Ferguson. Amazing time, great memories. WHAT NANI SAID

<p>Nani joined the Red Devils in 2007, just two years after making his senior debut for Sporting CP. He went on to represent the Premier League giants for eight years where he won several major titles including four Premier Leagues and one Champions League trophy under the tutelage of Ferguson.  </p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>The ex-Portugal international will continue to remain associated with football after his retirement as he will work on projects such as the Nani Football Academy in Fernao Ferro. He also owns a minority stake in the Portuguese lower-division club Sintrense SAD.   </p>
