Jude Bellingham’s X account hacked as Real Madrid star posts update on Instagram

Bellingham's X account made for curious reading on Sunday as his 2.3 million followers were treated to some unusual updates from the Real Madrid and England superstar. One read: "Someone sniped 20%, but whoever it is is out now. We're actively controlling liquidity. Let it ride."

Bellingham subsequently made it clear that his account had been hacked. The 21-year-old is currently enjoying a break over the festive period as La Liga pauses until January. Bellingham has been spotted in Sunderland, watching brother Jobe in action, and in Dubai for the Globe Soccer Awards as he makes the most of some rare time off in the midst of another hectic season for club and country.

He posted an update on Instagram that read: "My Twitter has been hacked. Ignore all posts!"

Bellingham is now set to return to Madrid to prepare for the second half of the season. Los Blancos take on Valencia on Friday in La Liga and then face a Copa del Rey tie with lowly Club Deportiva Minera.
