Paris Saint-Germain star Joao Neves was full of praise for head coach Luis Enrique after the European champions progressed to the Club World Cup round of 16.
PSG booked their ticket into the round of 16 of the ongoing Club World Cup after an easy 2-0 victory over Seattle Sounders. After the game, young midfielder Neves reserved praise for his gaffer Luis Enrique and explained why he has been such a difference-maker as the brain behind the team's unprecedented success since the turn of the year.
Speaking to the media after the game, Neves said: "It was tough. It's hot. They're a good team with the ball. We did everything we could to win. We won well. I'm very happy. Our coach is incredible. He gives us everything we need to do our best. He gives us confidence. He wants us to play with the ball and make the other team run. And when we don't have the ball, we have to get it back very quickly. No matter the team, it's always the same. We work like that."
