WHAT HAPPENED?

Burnley were heavily tipped to drop back down to the second tier before the start of the season and they have eventually succumbed to the dreaded drop. The biggest issue for the Clarets throughout the campaign has been their dire home form. Watt is actually a fan of Chelsea but chose to become a co-owner of Burnley alongside his wife on May 1, 2023. He retired from the NFL following the conclusion of the 2022 season, when he represented the Arizona Cardinals.
