The Cityzens registered their 13th consecutive win in the Women's Super League on Sunday as they thrashed West Ham 5-0. City racked up a three-goal lead in the first half courtesy of a brace by star forward Khadija Shaw and a strike from Leila Ouahabi. Laura Blindkilde then scored a fourth goal in the 81st minute before Jess Park netted the fifth with a brilliant effort. The English forward made a solo run down the middle from the centre circle before finding the back of the net with a strike from the edge of the box.

The win over the Hammers helped City to retain their position at the top of the WSL table as they now enjoy a three-point lead over the Blues. The match also saw their star Jamaican striker Khadija Shaw achieving a unique feat as she became the first-ever player in the league's history to have a goal involvement in 10 consecutive matches.

Gareth Taylor's side will be next seen in action in the WSL on April 28 as they face rock-bottom side Bristol City away from home. Park now has four goals and five assists in the league this season as she continues to make a case for more England involvement.
