Dig deep Jarrod! Dani Dyer prepared to spend £1m on wedding to West Ham star Bowen – with father Danny set to deliver ‘uproarious speech’

The West Ham winger proposed to his former Love Island star partner in July - with a ring reportedly worth £100,000 - after forming part of the England squad that reached the final of Euro 2024. Plans are now being drawn up for the big day, which will see no expense spared.

An insider has told Heat World: “Dani is so excited. She’s already working on a mood board for her dream day. She’ll be hiring a wedding planner to make sure it all comes to fruition in the way she imagined. She doesn’t want something small or simple – she wants it to be a proper event to remember and she doesn’t care if it ends up costing upwards of £1 million. She wants all her close friends and family to be there.”

The source went on to say, with it impossible for Dyer to avoid a West Ham theme given her strong connections to the Premier League outfit: “She wants it to be a traditional white wedding, but with some unique personal touches. Of course, there will be a nod to West Ham in there to please dad Danny, as well as Jarrod, but she’s warned her dad this is her dream day and she’s not going to let him take over when it comes to having it all about football. She doesn’t want it to be too over the top, but there will be a claret and sky-blue colour scheme running throughout certain elements of the decorations. She also wants to experiment with that colour scheme in some subtle way on their wedding cake.”

While actor father Danny will not be allowed to dominate pre-wedding preparations, he is ready to take centre stage when it comes to toasts. Heat’s source added: “Danny has said that whatever happens, he’ll be giving an uproarious speech. And while Dani has pleaded with him not to embarrass her or Jarrod, she knows it’s going to be hilarious and will bring the house down on the night, so she’s just accepting that she doesn’t have much control over what her dad will say.”

Bowen has been enjoying a well-earned break with his young family, but will soon be expected back at pre-season training with West Ham. They are counting down the days to a 2024-25 season opener against Aston Villa on August 17.
