WHAT HAPPENED?
Sancho's miserable stay at Old Trafford finally came to an end on Friday as he moved to Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan deal. The Blues have an obligation to buy him on a permanent basis next summer for a fee in the region of £20 million (€23m/$26m) to £25 million (€29m/$32m) depending on his performance.

The Athletic reports that the Englishman took a significant pay cut to force his move out of Manchester United as he looks to get his career back on track under manager Enzo Maresca, whose style of football suits Sancho's game much more than that of Erik ten Hag.
