More than 280,000 people participated in the voting process, selecting from the 12 Goal of the Month winners throughout the year. Kane’s goal secured a commanding 33.11% of the total votes, finishing well ahead of Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, who placed second with 14.61% of the vote. Kane’s triumph also made history, as he became the first English player to claim the award in over five decades of its existence.

The accolades didn’t stop there for the prolific forward. Kane continued his impressive run of form by scoring twice on Saturday in Bayern’s dominant win over Holstein Kiel. The victory further solidified the club’s position at the top of the Bundesliga, extending their lead to nine points. The match was a landmark occasion for Kane, as it marked his 50th Bundesliga appearance. True to form, he celebrated the milestone by making history, as no player has ever scored as many goals in their first 50 Bundesliga games as the England skipper.

With 19 goals in 18 Bundesliga matches this season, Kane has been instrumental in Bayern’s title charge. Looking ahead, the striker will have another opportunity to add to his impressive tally when Bayern host Werder Bremen on Friday.
