'A not too bad manager!' - Erling Haaland credits Pep Guardiola as Man City sensation reveals what motivates him after four-goal masterclass against Wolves

The Norwegian goal machine netted a first-half hat-trick before adding a fourth goal to his tally in the 54th minute as City registered a thumping 5-1 win over Wolves on Saturday at Etihad Stadium. The 23-year-old took his tally to 25 goals this season which now makes him the favourite to win the Premier League Golden Boot for the second season in a row.

After the game, the City star credited Guardiola for constantly motivating him to perform at the highest level. He also spoke highly of his colleagues, whose performances drive him to consistently deliver for his club.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the star forward said: "I’ve got a not too bad manager who pushes me and look at the players around me. Without them, it would not be possible. Look ahead, look to the next one - four finals left for the season. We’re going to go for it and focus on Fulham."

The reigning English champions will be next seen in action in the Premier League on May 11 as they travel to London to face Fulham in a vital clash.
