Cristiano Ronaldo told he's still 'the best player in the world' with ex-Portugal boss in 'no doubt' evergreen CR7 will make it to 2026 World Cup

Santos said at the Portuguese Football Federation’s 110th anniversary, as reported by O Jogo: “No surprise there, I always expected him to be at a high level until late in his career. I have no doubt that he will be at the World Cup and will give his all so that Portugal can win another title. Cristiano is the best player in the world, full stop.”

Ronaldo has five Ballons d’Or to his name, having battled with Lionel Messi for the title of best player on the planet throughout his career, and intends to make more history by reaching 1,000 goals before any thought is given to hanging up his boots.
