After <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/video-cristiano-ronaldo-rages-referee-al-nassr-goal-disallowed-offside/blt7b679f9f2d3e0d8c" target="_blank">throwing an elbow at Ali Al-Bulaihi</a>, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was dismissed with four minutes left on the clock.

The report posted by the match referee claims that Ronaldo used “excessive force” when striking an opponent, leading to him being sent off. The evergreen 39-year-old objected to that decision, and angrily argued his case, before eventually heading down the tunnel.

He will also be made to pay a fine of 20,000 riyals as a result of his actions.
