    WHAT HAPPENED?

    The Gunners will be reunited with former Tottenham star Kane – who has hit over 30 goals for Bayern this season – while City boss Pep Guardiola is tackling old adversaries from the Spanish capital. His former employers at Barcelona, meanwhile, must overcome Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain, with Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund completing the draw.

    Alongside the draw for the quarter-finals, a path to the Champions League final has also been mapped out for the eight sides involved. It has been revealed that the winner of Dortmund’s clash with Atletico will face either PSG or Barca in the semi-finals, while Arsenal or Bayern must overcome Real or City in order to get a shot at major continental silverware.

    The first legs of the 2023-24 Champions League quarter-finals will take place on April 9 and 10, with the return legs pencilled in for the following week. The semi-finals will get underway on April 30, and be played across back-to-back weeks once again, with all of those still in the competition hoping to make their way to the final at Wembley Stadium in London on June 1.
