Timely boost for Man Utd & England! Erik ten Hag provides Luke Shaw injury update ahead of run-in and Euro 2024

The Manchester United manager claimed that Shaw is on course to make a comeback before the current season ends. Thus, he will get enough opportunities to prove himself worthy of being named in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the upcoming Euro 2024.

Speaking to reporters, Ten Hag said, "I expect him back before the end of the season. That is the plan and he is still on schedule and will return to our team."

The left-back has been sidelined since February when he suffered a muscle injury during United's Premier League clash against Luton Town. There were concerns regarding his fitness as Southgate hinted that Shaw might not make it to England's starting lineup at the Euros. However, Ten Hag's update comes as a boost for the Three Lions as well as the Red Devils who are aiming to finish the 2023/24 season on a high.

Ten Hag's side will return to action on Saturday as they take on Brentford away from home in a crucial Premier League clash.
