The Manchester United manager claimed that Shaw is on course to make a comeback before the current season ends. Thus, he will get enough opportunities to prove himself worthy of being named in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the upcoming Euro 2024.

Speaking to reporters, Ten Hag said, "I expect him back before the end of the season. That is the plan and he is still on schedule and will return to our team."

There were concerns regarding his fitness as Southgate hinted that Shaw might not make it to England's starting lineup at the Euros.
