Barcelona's conditions to sign Marcus Rashford revealed with Man Utd outcast set for summer-long wait ahead of potential move to Spain

Barca are keen on a move to sign Rashford but must free up space on their wage bill if they are to make it work. As reported by Sport, that would include the departure of Pau Victor, which is expected to happen.

Nico Williams is close to joining Barcelona from Athletic Club, a deal that is being given precedence over the Rashford one. It wouldn't rule out a move for the Englishman completely, though, with a loan being considered.

Barca tried to sign Rashford in January, only for their financial issues to prevent them from following through on the interest. The forward joined Aston Villa instead but is keen on a switch to La Liga this summer.

Hansi Flick's outfit have communicated to Rashford's entourage that a deal may not be pursued until the final days of the summer transfer window, when they know what they can afford. That has been accepted by Rashford, who will turn down all other offers while it remains a possibility.
