The Aston Villa star is currently dating the Villains' women's team midfielder Alisha Lehmann and the Swiss footballer praised Luiz's 'assist of the season' against the Blades. The Brazilian provided a delightful ball over the top to Ollie Watkins for the Villains' second goal of the night.

The Villains have been in spectacular form this season as is indicated by their position in the league so far. They currently sit fourth in the Premier League standings having the third most goals scored this season. As for Luiz, he has been one of the most pivotal players for the side alongside Ollie Watkins and John McGinn.

Lehmann is currently the most-followed female footballer on Instagram as she boasts 16.3 million followers as of February 4, 2023. She has been with the Brazilian since November 2021 as they both met in the camp at the Birmingham-based club.

Both the players will be involved in their respective domestic cup games later this week. Lehmann will take the field with Aston Villa as they take on Brighton on Wednesday, February 7 in the FA Women's Cup. Just an hour later, Luiz will take the field with the men's team against Chelsea in their FA Cup fourth-round replay.
